I love the Citroen CX.
Citroen has always been known for its streamline chassis since the early 70s which makes this car set itself apart in automobile industry.
I'm a big fan of Citreon since I was a little boy as those cars with a long chassis with skirts always caught my eyes.
I'm wondering why today the company won't bring back such unique design and use that as the blueprint to freshen up the look of this car like Beetle, Fiat, they keep their memorable look but removed the rough edges.
Hope Citreon owner will seriously think about that.

That was when Citroen, was a good manufacturer , now they produce generic cars.
I would love to get a chance to ride in or drive one of these. But you don't see these over here in the United States. I am fortunate enough to have written in a DS before and enjoyed it. Getting a chance to ride in CX is certainly on my bucket list, the ride must be sumptuous!
The CX was actually sold in the US for two years or so. Some company called CxAuto altered the car specifically for the US market. They were not allowed to be called Citroën anymore, but they still were Citroëns, really. I'm not sure how many were sold, but I believe they're not even that rare.

Oh I don't mean you seen them on every corner of the street ;). I just know some people in Europe import a CX from the US. Some quick googling tells me that it's more rare than I would've thought though.

i owned a white cx athena also,sadly wrote it off when i hit a quarry truck head on in pouring rain. i suffered no injury but the cx gave up its life to protect us inside. wonderful cars.

As my first car I had a golden CX Athena from 1980, basically the same car, also with the iconic spheric ashtray. Unfortunately it rusted away under my ass. Great car though
en faite j ai eu 14 cx tout modele sont toute partie a la casse je les es abandonner a l epoque pour 10000 francs on pouvais acheter plein 1500 euros
