- My amazing sister-in-law, Annie (who has made all my videos) has made this one, of people saying why they think I should become Ellen’s elf for her 12 days of giveaways.
When she sent it to me, it truly brought tears in my eyes. I am the luckiest girl to be surrounded by so much love, and have so much support.

Oh l really hope you get to be an elf. You have done so much to raise awareness of FND. You inspire me to keep fighting this disorder.
It's so good to see you have so much support with FND, it's very hard for people to understand just what is going on with FND I find and it is a hard illness to explain. You are such an inspiration for me Jamie 😘 best of luck, you would be wonderful.
Ellen please we need to raise awareness for functional neurological disorder. There are many who suffer from this, but there is still not enough research because it was always thought of as psychological because it doesnt show up on tests. It causes many and different disabling symptoms that doctors still dont understand. There is a stigma attached to this disorder and outdated views. It is not psychological, there is definitely some kind of inflammation or autoimmune going on but because it was never taken seriously before, so it was never properly researched. We need a cure, please help raise awareness. Thank you Jaime and your friends for this video.
