      You can shadow a dentist. You could most likely do a 1 month preceptorship at Boston university on a visitor visa. Although you need to verify with the school.

    Thank you guys. After seeing this video, i had a huge mental relief 😅
    Well i had 2 questions. Im a greencard holder, so is there any privilage for greencard holders in selection for admission?
    And second question - i have taken many useful courses and lectures and seminars during my internship period. Some of them were IDA approved. So should i mention all of them in my CV?

    • @rahulnagda3113
      @rahulnagda3113  Před 5 lety +1

      Green card holders have advantage. Especially if a person rejects his acceptance at last moment, green card holder is preferred.
      Limit CV to 2 pages. You can mention important CE courses if space permits.

    • @rahulnagda3113

      A lot depends on your overall profile. Having toefl around 105 will make your application much more competitive. You still have time to re-take toefl this cycle. Good luck!

    Is 2.92 gpa really bad to apply to a dental school. I have 16 research papers to my name and 100 toefl score.??

    • @rahulnagda3113
      @rahulnagda3113  Před 2 lety

      Both GPA and Toefl score are on the lower end. Having research in your profile is good but it is not a major factor in selection. Most schools prefer GPA over 3.0
      You might have a chance if there is good reason for low GPA. If not, I would advice you to enroll in masters program like MPH, MHA, MS, etc. and improve your GPA. Also, try to improve your toefl score.
