Owned that exact bike in my last year of high school . Put a Bassani exhaust system on it and different jets . I can remember pulling 90 m/hr on the open road . That Yammie was so much fun and kicked back like a mule - it was a real ankle breaker , even with the decompression valve. I was like Top Gun riding it to school - popping wheelies . lol 😂
I tried to start this thing in a tennis shoe one day. I limped around for 2 weeks afterwards lol
Awesome bike!! I had one back in the day, and it got me through high school. Good for trail riding, yet it can cruise at 70 mph on the highway. Also good for out-running and eluding LE on neighborhood streets, if you are heading home at 2am and had a few beers and don't feel like stopping, or so I am told. Be careful starting it though, because she likes to bite your ankle if you get careless.

Just picked up 1974 175dt barn find with 1 owner title factroy manual and tool kit 322 miles on it this is my second one to total restore im keeping this one .
I don't know how you find all these dime pieces but keep it up! Love everything you guys do!

It has the baffle installed they were just that loud back then I guess.
