    Sometimes a product arrives that completely takes me by surprise. Myer Audio CKLVX-D41 did just that but was it a negative or positive surprise? How does it compare to the Ziigaat Cinno and Tanchjim Kara?

      Studio 4 and Hype 4 are significant steps up from P5 but minor from CKLVX. Depends on how much you want to spend. Also depends on the presentation you seek, Studio 4 is the most neutral.

    I think I found an eartip for the CKLVX that makes it indistinguishable from the Hype 4 (at least in terms of pure sonics). Azla SednaEarFit Vivid Edition eartips, they bring out more flavor from the midbass, redirect the mids to sound more balanced between male and female vocals whilst still complimenting the tonality of lead instruments, and they "wake up" the treble so that it comes across as being more enthusiastic/less dull. I almost can't tell the two iems apart now, but I'm pretty sure the Hype 4 still has the better technicalities.

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  Před 2 měsíci +3

      D41 has a little more bass impact, isn't as balanced in the upper, similar stage width and depth. Hype 4 is better detailed and resolving, slightly better tone and timber, better layering, slightly more controlled in the bass and uppers. Both are excellent with the differences being mostly in the technical abilities.

      I've not heard the Blessing 3 since I reviewed it. I don't recall much about the Blessing 3 but if memory serves me correctly the details, resolution, tone and timbre are better.
      As for changes on price point, they can be subtle to drastic, depending on the tuning and implementation and qual8ty of components. Most difference noticed will be in details retrieved, how they're resolved, tone, timbre and staging abilities.

    Hiw does this compare to the Hype 4?

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  Před 3 měsíci +5

      Hype 4 has a bit more bass impact and texture, a bit more details and resolution, a little more natural tone and timbre and more treble extension that adds in more air and space. The two are similar sounding but the Hype 4 edges it out overall in performance

      @TheHonestAudiophile  Před měsícem +1

      Different presentations. The D41 has a fuller, more impactful, more detailed, more resolving, more spacious and extended sound. The ER2XR is more intimate and mid centered, the D41 is extended and balanced, very cohesive.

    how does this set compare (by sound) to hype 4 ?

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  Před 2 měsíci +1

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Quintet bass is similar but not as refined, more elevated and forward in the mids, has less treble energy and extension, little less detail and resolution, not as natural tone and timbre.

    • @TheHonestAudiophile
      @TheHonestAudiophile  Před 2 měsíci

      I've not heard the Blessing 3 since I review it. But if memory serves me correctly, the Hype 4 is a bit more fun leading and the Blessing 3 is more neutral, analytical leaning. I don't remember enough about the technical abilities to do a fair comparison.
