- This is my longest video ever. I was requested to walk the Barrio Zaragoza in Leon, Nicaragua and I did, every inch of it. Every street east west as well as north south. And accidentally a little bit of El Centro, too. Sorry for the extreme length, but I appreciate everyone sticking with me as we cover all of this ground.

I usually like to watch "walking" videos in European cities because they're, well walkable. Didn't know León is much the same too. Really enjoyed this video. 🙌
Almost all of Nicaragua is super walkable. Guatemala and Costa Rica too.

If it is possible a little walk aroud recolection area by the church a cross there is a beatiful hotel .
that's super close. I'm there all the time for dinner or whatever. which hotel do you want to see? or do you just mean the hotel recolección?

Too maintain the integrity of the city, houses with colonial facade are not allowed to change, but you can build whatever you want behind it. The owner doesn’t need the money. I started to watch this blog because I miss my city but now I’m just aggravated with your typical gringo attitude, you come someplace and you just have to make it to your standard. Stop.
So, what exactly is the "typical gringo attitude" here? You say that, yet consistently you seem to have the American approach to Nicaragua. You are definitely far more gringo than me. Don't get angry just because people care about and want to have a positive impact on Nicaragua. Some of us (lots of us) love this country and aren't going to abandon it and attempt to isolate it just because we are resentful. It's telling that Nicaraguense never say things like this, just Americans. You need to actually come visit this country and see what it is like. You've been gone so long that it isn't even really the same country, at all, as when you left. You really don't have any way to know what is or isn't the Nicaraguan way anymore. To Nicaraguans, you are just another American resenting them from afar with no real knowledge of what life is like here. Show some respect, both to me, and to Nicaragua. It's fine that you dislike this country and want them to suffer, but that opinion will not be permitted here. This isn't a channel for that. Keep it civil.
And for those who think this is SO gringo of my to show properties in a barrio... this video was requested by a Nicaraguan looking for a rental property in that barrio but didn't have time to walk around and see the options. And he took one of the properties shown. This wasn't made "for" expats, per se.
