I watched the interview. If Ali is bi, or pan or whatever, that's not a surprise because I knew she had a boyfriend in university. I would, however, be ridiculously surprised if Pinoe ever said she were bi. I've heard Megan refer to herself as gay many times, but never Ali.

Same ... I was a bit shocked to hear she'd be open to dating males as well because I thought she was full lesbian & not bisexual. She doesn't seem like a Kerr, Pinoe, Ashlyn, or a Heath lesbian, but comes off more like a Kristie Mewis or Christen Press lesbian who you can totally see them with a man. She does seem a bit open to the idea because she knows she can get just about anyone! She's beautiful! However, I agree with your comment & I believe she wants to shake things up & start controversy. I hope Ali finds someone she loves and really loves her but I do have to point out that the statement you made about sexuality being more fluid now only applies to bisexual and pansexual people. I'm a lesbian so I'm only attracted to women and I've known this since kindergarten so my sexuality isn't fliud at all, it's as solid as a rock lol. Same goes for gay men because they are exclusively attracted to men.
The only reason I bring this up is because saying that lgbt community as a whole is fluid can confuse people and give people the wrong impression about lesbians and gay men. I know this first hand because I've constanly had my sexuality questioned and disregarded with people saying that they didnt believe I was only attracted to women because sexuality is fluid and it feels so terrible to hear that from people when I know who I am and I'm definitely not fluid. Same goes for a lot of my lesbian friends who have been invalidated by people saying similar things. I know you two didn't mean anything bad by what you were saying I just think you should've clarified that fluidity is only a thing for bi and pan people because gay people literally can't feel attraction to the opposite sex.
I hope this didn't come off the wrong way, just wanted to clear things up so anyone that doesn't know much about lgbt people won't automatically assume things. Also, Megan Rapinoe publicly came out as a lesbian in 2012 so there's no chance she'd ever date a man lol. Anyways, I love your videos and wish you two the best!

But as you said, I realized that I was not acknowledging the people who have zero attraction to certain genders, and that isn't fair either. So, thank you for helping me open my eyes!! Ash and Sophia are still going strong.they attended a theatre event together this past week and Sophia posted both of them walking hand in hand,though just their legs but from Ashley's post earlier that day,she was wearing the same outfit as the person Sophia was with...so two plus two

I came back from watching a final of Bulls at Wembley, years back and a girl in a club grabbed me by my replica shirt on the dance floor. I had been drinking all day and thought I was going to get kissed. It turned out she wanted to know what it was like at Wembley, as Bradford had not been for years. Some lads laughed and teased her that her girlfriend looked upset, especially as it looked like we had kissed. I just told them not to be so sexist, but really it was as much to hide my own disappointment as she seemed really nice. Plus Bradford had lost, having played one of the best losing performances ever. Not my lucky day.
That's exactly the problem for most Bi+ (bise.xual, panse.xual, polyse.xual, omnise.xual) people: the prejudice, especially within the LGBTQIA+ community that you're not gay enough. If Ali ends up dating a male identifying person, many would feel this stereotype of "you haven't found the right man" coming true. You're right that it's gotten better, but bi-erasure is still a thing.
At the end of the day, the majority of the LGBTQIA+ people are on the spectrum, and love is fluid.
So wholesome that Ali and Ash are able to coparent and are there for their children together.
So nice of Ruesha to keep her promise and distribute roses at the Conti-Cup quarterfinal match against Arsenal.

I dont know why you assumed she was a lesbian because she dated a woman for 14 years. Ali never stated that and I think that she wanted to say it clearly to avoid any misunderstanding about her real sexuality.

I think they both come from some fractured backgrounds. More so Ashlyn than Ali but I also feel like Ash was always comfortable with her sexuality and Ali not sure. Look, they had a fantastic life when they played for Orlando when they were in Florida, which was Ashlyn’s home turf. Then they both got traded to New York, not Ash’s vibe. Adopted two children and a short period of time Ashlyn retired and Ali was the queen, because she was captain of the team. I absolutely adored them as a couple and I’m so upset with what happened but I wish them both well. I do have a say I have stopped following Ashlyn.

Anyway, her relationship with Ashlyn is a reminder that queer women are just as capable of being cheating sleazeballs as straight cis men are. Even before the divorce notice ali has been dressing for men. So, for ali making this remark about dating men, this means she has been thinking and discussing about dating men. Hence breaking the contract. Someone wanting to be bi- the female partner alway loses in the relationship. Stop sitting on the fence and choose a side. Living in a bi world only creates more turmoil.
