Trans ideology is now being taught as my daughters Catholic/Christian school. They were told that if they feel uncomfortable with a trans girl in their changing room then that are being transphobic. This has helped me, thanks so much!
Can you clarify if this is a catholic school? If possible, can you mention what part of the US? Thanks
@@LunarEclipse-xv8jx Yes a Catholic school, in the UK not US
And they toss the word 'transphobia' around as if it were morally reprehensible, but it is not. The suffix, phobia, means an aversion to something, not just a fear. It is normal and realistic to be transphobic.
Appalling.
@@cherylmockotr I was listening to an interview on BBC 5 Live a few years ago. A lady from The Runnymeade Trust was talking about Islamaphobia. The interviewer began by asking for a definition of Islamaphobia, and the lady said, "we have to get away from the notiuon that a phobia is an irrational fera of soemthing". That is what she said, virtually a perfect definition, you couldn't make it up.
When porn started to become available online in the 90s, I had a real sense of foreboding. Even the ‘tamest’ stuff treats women like pieces of meat, and there’s no way this doesn’t have a negative effect on how women are perceived and treated.
I actully had a man compare me to a steak that he wanted to eat one time!!! I think he thought it was a compliment!
Mainstream movies do the same thing too - how many movies routinely have scenes in strip clubs or where some gang kingpin is surrounded by vacuous ‘babes’ in their underwear? How many times is the rape of a woman used as a plot device?
My ex "learned" from it, it was awful, he never gave me an orgasm only pain which of course was always my fault, he would move me around in bed like he was posing a doll and he never cared he was like a robot trying to recreate scenes he'd seen, I've not dated since, that was my first and only experience of men, I feel sorry for younger women as I think the younger they are the more they are exposed to, I would feel safer dating an older man if I ever get the guts too as I feel they would be safer as they didn't grow up on that brain rot, had their first experiences before they watched all that stuff online so it wouldn't be able to mould them, but I might be just kidding myself.
Porn is such a serious issue, but one that has been so accepted in to the mainstream that talking out against it is almost impossible (one can talk, but is not heard and / or are branded a prude, or worse). It astounds me that so many people turn a blind eye to the human trafficking that is rife in the industry, and the life destroying trauma that the porn industry inflicts on so many.
@@GreatSageSunWukong have you considered that you could've have told him what you wanted and teach him yourself? If he wasn't interested in your feedback, then you should've left him asap. Not all men are like that, don't let one experience give you the wrong impression.
Thanks for speaking to Genevieve, the work that Anna & her do - is incredible.
I still don't think that the mainstream realises just how deep & depraved this is.
It's a threat to all females, regardless of age,
It's a threat to reality, too.
it's a threat to humanity itself
If it threatens woman, Then it threatens humanity, With out women their is no human race.
I totally agree. Most people know hardly anything of all this, including politicians, law makers and people in management positions, etc., who are falling for it. It's pure poison. If you try to speak out, especially if you're female, you are very quickly aggressively shut down.
@@dragonfox2.058 sounds dramatic, but really if everyone was trans most would be sterile. So I agree with you.
@@AmberMcAvey every species since the Cambrian Epoch has been binary female/male erase one and you erase the species...so yeah
As a mother and grandmother, this is truly harrowing. I have such fear for my grandchildren.

It's scary, we can only hope that this madness ends. Once people understand what's behind it maybe things will change. The institutions have become infested by trans cult especially the schools.
boo fucking hoo granny. blow your nose and grow up. this right wing created boogieman doesn't even exist let alone being a threat.
It's a body snatching cult.
There are many agendas at play, for a variety of reasons. However, depopulation is their main goal.
I’ve tried to tell people that this trans stuff comes from porn but they don’t believe me. It is inappropriate to expose children to anything sexual whatsoever, but to expose them to porn kinks infuriates me. I wish this fad would end quickly.
If you're of a certain age like me and have engaged in porn viewing, you know that's how it came about. This is why is sad that it's being introduced to kids.
@@rodb66 Not sad, 'horrific'. I think we need to stop being passive and use language that accurately describes and doesn't normalise or diminish the heinous and evil nature of what is going on or how this came about.
I remember when the he/she person was a freakshow on the deviant section of hardcore adult sites.
Yes, internet porn has exasperated this problem a great deal, no doubt about it. However, It did not begin with pornography. Transvestitism>Transsexualsim>Transgederism is how this evolved over the past 100 years. Transvestitism has existed throughout history going back thousands of years and this led to the development of the second two in the 20th century. In the 21 st century this has now exploded into the Social Hysteria Contagion we are now witnessing. Listen to and read everything you can from Genevieve Gluck and Jennifer Bilek. A lot may be repetitive but there's always a little bit more that they hadn't said before.
I've always thought this too! The porn industry has a lot to answer for in encouraging people to behave in vile dehumanising ways. I'm no prude either (by all means be creative/kinky at home) but porn is not about that. It's only ever been about reducing women to being nothing more than sexual objects for men's fantasies. It desensitises people terribly and there's a real correlation amongst violent criminals and murderers who were exposed to porn at a young age, before progressing to more violent images or even child pornograpy. I agree with you about sexualising kids. Childhood is too short and should be a time to enjoy innocence, not having it exploited!
What next? Burkas for actual women to make SURE we are invisible.
Genevieve brings the ugly truth to light.
Thank you for showcasing her strength and dedication.

Thank you for interviewing Genevieve! She is a brilliant woman with important insights into this issue.
My late mother was a feminist activist starting in the 1970s - I grew up in that bubble. A lot of feminists were scared off by Andrea Dworkin back then. I wish they hadn’t. I remember once, in the 1980s, a bus went by with an almost naked lady in an ad on it. Mom looked at it & said, “pornography is becoming mainstream.” She was quite sad about it. Genevieve Gluck: thank you for what you are doing. I feel bad for all the muck you have to wade through. It’s unspeakable. I’m learning a lot from you…both Dworkin & my mom would be very proud of you. We will turn this around. We will be strong, clear & calm…it’s too urgent to panic. We have to get real. Thank you 🙏❤️
Andrea Dworkin had a razor-sharp analysis of how porn and prostitution hurt women, and how making these things “normal” was going to create even more problems. Genevieve is following in the footsteps of Dworkin and her contemporaries. One of my favourite speeches by Dworkin is “Woman Hating Left and Right.” It’s a must-listen no matter what your politics may be.

Thanks for an insightful and brilliant interview Spiked. Your coverage of the threats to women's and children's safety has been excellent. Well said.👍👍👍👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Excellent interview. What appears innocent on the surface is deeply sinister and disturbing.
So very true
Thank you. Genevieve is one of my heroes.
Thank you for protecting the women, the sanity and decency! 🙏
Another reason for girls wanting to transition into males that rarely gets mention is that for some females with heterosexual sexual orientation who decide to transition, did so because they wished to become the kind of men they themselves were attracted to.
I have heard this from a few ftm trans who later de-transitioned.
There is also another reason. I know of women who transitioned into male as a reaction to sexual abuse that they experienced earlier in life. Perhaps a part of them hopes that this abuse will never happen to them again if they were just male (and in the process completely disregarding that men can get raped too)
Wow. That was a really, really great interview! Thank you so much! Genevieve is an absolute STAR, obviously! But also, great, very clued-in interviewer! Thank you for being a man who obviously cares about women. There aren't that many of those in this day and age, seemingly. But when I occasionally come across them, it gives me hope. :)
And yeah... Thank you for further connecting a lot of dots for me, Genevieve! I especially find the connection between porn and gender ideology to be very, VERY interesting!! Feel like going and binging a bunch of Reduxx articles. Which I just might do, because I'm not working today. Funny how it's all connected, hey..? Like a very dark, interwoven tapestry. And once you start connecting the dots, and get a sense of how outrageous it is..? You just can't help but keep trying to connect ALL the dots! Or at least that's how it works for me. Because that's the sort of mind I have. Also, funny how fiction truly pales in comparison to this whole mess! Had this been fictional, I would have just marvelled at how EXTREMELY morbidly twisted and well executed it was, and tipped my hat off to the author(s)! But the fact that it is REAL..? Sometimes makes me want to scream, and sometimes makes me question what "reality" even is. But 'eh... Research, speak out, object, and connect ALL the dots! At least it helps knowing that we're not alone in this, I feel. All the best to everyone.

I have always considered trans to be basically misogynistic. However I never associated the Trans Movement with pornography. It does make sense. The porn industry is anti women. One more reason to protect young people from porn.
Miss appropriation of words , if I understand the word misogyny in the dictionary it would mean a complete dislike and loathing of any female. The male would seek to distance himself both physically and sexually.
Trans men don't seem to come across as women haters or infact want to distance themselves from other women infact this is fundamentally there goal .
Misogyny this phrase is to easily used to describe any group of men by the feminist movement.
@@vaughanlockett658 I do think there is some loathing there for women, maybe that's too strong a word but it's obvious by the terms they now use for us, including cis, which was coined by a paedophile supporter and all the inclusive terms like chest feeder and birthing person and the main insults Cishet, bleeder etc. Even when you say you don't like those terms you are disregarded as oversensitive which is such hypocrisy.
If I wanted to be something I couldn't be, would I secretly end up hating and coveting it at the same time? I could see how that would happen if I'm honest.
I'm not grouping all people together because the trans people I've met have been nothing like the activists publically assaulting women and screaming their aggression and hate at so called 'peaceful protests'

Such an important conversation. #WomanAdultHumanFemale
In the wider culture why is so much emphasis given to the transgenders thoughts and feelings and virtually, as you say, no consideration given to women's thoughts and feelings about this issue? It's especially distressing in women's sports. For a man to be able to compete against women because he claims to be a woman is just horrible and destructive, to the female athletes who have to compete against him. We have a swimmer transgender, here in the States, that's breaking women's records all over the place; and if they are allowed to stand they will never be broken by a woman again.
I don't understand why the women go ahead and participate. What if the trans-man was left there in an empty pool to compete against himself? Its so simple folks.
This will continue for as long as people allow it to. One must question the role of those who work in the political, educational and legal areas.....and make them accountable. Following "instructions" can be no excuse!
Genevieve is always stellar! Some people these days really lock up their darkness in a box and throw away the key, someday it'll erupt from not being reflected upon.
Edited to say, I really appreciate what you’re doing, I wouldn’t have either the stomach or patience to do the deep dives you’re doing. So, more power to you! I hope you periodically take genuine breaks and watch nothing but kittens and puppies and cartoons (or your personal equivalent.)
The thing that makes me crazy is that part of the reason we still stand a good chance of losing this battle unless we get more _men_ speaking out is that women are still being too nice. Hearing you say “women are formless” in such a calm, inflectionless way makes me want to scream and throw my phone out the window.
I don’t know why women are still toeing the line of trying to appear ‘impartial’ when what we’re up against is a deranged mob of foaming-at-the-mouth _lunatics._ Not to mention MRAs, incels and paraphiliacs, oh my 🙄
I hate the fact that Matt Walsh is getting so much credit for exposing this issue when women have been fighting this battle for years. Kind of underlines the fact of women not getting listened to, if not being actively silenced.
I’ve only watched the preview of his movie, and seethed with fury through it that he gives _no_ credit to all the women fighting this fight, including you, Genevieve. He does the stereotypical sexist man move of acting like he came up with this all on his own, even though he seems to be quoting the words of some pretty well-know women along the way.
Anyway. In spite of all that, I did find myself impressed by how he used a series of ‘gotcha’s’ to illustrate the absolute lack of any sort of logic underpinning this neo-religious ideology.
We _have_ to resort to these tactics ourselves to have any chance of turning this around. Number one, they don’t _have_ any genuine arguments, just threats, aggression and bullying (what nice, kind people! 🙄) So trying to be 'rational’ with them isn’t going to work.
Second, they don't _care_ about women. At all. Which is why they’re ‘winning’ - they never back down, if they see any slight weakness on our part, they come after us even harder. Their goal isn’t equality, they want to _crush_ us. Just watch any women’s rally where the Pampers show up.
Give this woman an award. And thank you Brendan for not closing your eyes to this depraved social psychosis. It's really relieving to hear your background knowledge & understanding in your questions & comments

We’re always having conversations about trans women in womens spaces. Trans men are never talked about. It’s further evidence for the position Genevieve holds.
I’m genuinely shocked that the medical community supported de-medicalisation of gender dysphoria and acceptance of gender affirming care with out exploring any other pathologies. Does anyone understand how the scientific medical community was co-opted in this way? Not a rhetorical question, I have a background in both paediatric and adult ICU and can’t imagine my many esteemed colleagues buying into this.
I ALWAYS wondered this as well. What about other body or image dysphoria that don’t relate directly to gender? They are not treated, talked about or categorized in the same way at all so why gender dysphoria?
$$$$$$$$$ and capitalistic medicine go hand in hand
Hospitals are all owned by a couple of corporations who are lobbied by interest groups who want to sell products, that's it really. I can't find a physician who isn't affiliated with a hospital group who doesn't have "sex assigned at birth" on the form at a pediatrics office and I live in a smaller town in a red state.
Because the medical professionals are told these are the new rules and if you dont follow it they will get fired. Thats what happened to one of the best experts in the field Dr Zucker from Canada. He got fired because he didnt agree with gender affirming (only) care. The LGBT people have the power to change the DSM they have a surprising amount of power.

To which I am labelled a bigot…hmm…well not really…and if that’s to be my label, I will wear it with ….. pffff …honesty…
As a 30something woman, I fear that I will never have kids because dating has been so much more harder and gender ideology makes it so much harder, cause I fear how much are autogynophilia men or pornsick and I also fear my kids will be brainwashed to be tran against my will.
Sorry to my parents, I couldn't give you grandbabies.
Excellent interview
Thank you gor this wonderfully well researched and well reasoned dialogue!
Mental health is an ongoing process of dedication to reality at all costs.
It seems to me that we don't really understand the functions of taboos, stigmas, rules and boundaries until they have all been removed.
It's really depressing how far gender ideology has spread. Why did it become so accepted and normalised to describe women as nothing more than their sexual anatomy? :(
It's a Jedi mind trick played on women ... it baffles me utterly how this continues to be tolerated.

Wow what an eye opener. Thank you
Fantastic interview. Great woman.
Very Depressing.
Fascinating, modern day taboo subjects discussed with such intelligence, instills confidence, wonderful 🙏👏😎
I've blogged about this a while ago. I agree with her that there is a fetishistic element to those that want to appear as women but keep their manly bits. Sexual dimorphism makes the person to be the sex they want to be as fully as possible, not some chick with a d1ck. The fetish side is apparent where the identifiable female elements are exaggerated, for instance larger than normal breasts. Don't get me started on how the Drag culture became an element of sexuality when it originated just as entertainment. Again the CD/TV/fetish element of Drag comes to the fore, which is not the same as sexual dimorphism, or sexuality. It's a fetish pure and simple. The push to get Gay kids to transition instead of embracing their sexuality is criminal. Also, the Trans ideology that seems to say that men can be not just women, but a better woman than an actual biological female seems a tad misogynistic, or at the very least extremely patronising. It's like a man patting a woman on the head and saying "Hang on dear, let me show you how it's done".
There's also a lack of respect for the female space. The Trans movement should be asking for acceptance, not kicking the doors down and walking right on in.
i am fascinated that you frame fetishes as though they were something to be scorned. they're not. they're legitimate expressions of identity and literally everyone has them. you just don't consider your own to be fetishes. they are. and they don't cheapen you for having them. they make you human. fetishes are personal preferences that help you feel sexually engaged. they matter. i truly pity who feels ashamed of them. i despise who would use them to shame others.
@@snowyhudson975 It’s the expecting everybody else to be ok with y’all parading your fetishes in _public_ and grooming young children to permanently mutilate their bodies.
What you do in the privacy of your own home on your own time is nobody’s business and _nobody cares._ It’s the demand that we go along with and support these atrocities that makes you a groomer. Which is a _crime_ for a reason.
@@snowyhudson975 fetishism is an expression of sexual desire. That's it. If you want that to be part of your identity, you're free to, but it tells me that your sexual desires are twisted, not directed at another human being, but objects, you're another object and that is your identity. I will treat you as per your claimed identity, animal instict turned into an object, therefore nothing to consider. You're an object and they are furniture.
@@snowyhudson975 I have no problem with fetishes, but they are not protected characteristics. They have no business in schools for instance and they definitely do not usurp women's rights.
@@snowyhudson975 Put a lamp inside your head. And go back to mammie.
I suspect you will find that evil people often consider themselves to be on the right side of history.
Just the term makes my skin crawl. Very totalitarian. Usually used when they have no rational argument .
Reduxx is on the right side of history
Fantastic interview! Thank you. :)
The soft white underbelly podcast chronicles the lives of the underclass of skid row in LA . The one experience most of the addicts and disturbed share is child sexual abuse. Why is this never mentioned? Adults do not speak glowingly of having sex with adults as children. It doesn’t create harmony love and satisfaction just a completely destroyed adult 😢
I had a gay guy friend once say that he would be a better woman than me if he was a woman. Needless to say, we’re not friends anymore
The vast, vast majority of lesbian women are extremely proud of their identity and have absolutely no problem telling these straight men who identify as lesbian(ridiculous) where to go with their revolting male anatomy. The young lesbians being bullied by these men should reach out to older lesbians who are there to guide them and help them if only they would ask.
Back in 1980 when I was going through puberty I thought that I was becoming a girl.
Thank goodness I went through this in 1980 and grew up to become a parachuting, swimming, trekking, motorcyle riding man.
That sounds like very feminine activities to me. Real men don't feel the need to keep proving themselves with macho nonsense like that.
@@Merlin3189 why do you think physical activity is "macho nonsense"?
@@apebass2215 Not at all: I've enjoyed pastimes involving physical activity, including swimming and what I guess some people might call trekking. I still cycle, sail and enjoy a walk regularly, though I've long stopped running, swimming, basketball and football. I can't say I've ever thought of motorcycling, car driving or parachuting as physical activities. The point about the list was that it sounded like the sort of bucket list activities that so many people go in for these days. Things you do just to show your superiority and wealth - or in this case, to prove that they are not feminine. Other than the satisfaction of having done things that others haven't, they don't seem to enjoy them very much, and they don't continue them. That's why I see them as macho, rather than fun and healthy activities. To be fair, I think that females go in for some of that sort of thing now, but I'm much more sympathetic with their motivations.
@@Merlin3189 I don’t think any of those are particularly macho. I’ve done 3 out of 4 and intend to get my motorcycle licence soon. I know you’re commenting on what OP thinks of as male or female and how limiting that is and I agree. But I think that’s how pervasive and regressive trans ideology is. Jumping out of a plane is gendered now when it’s just stupid fun no matter who does it.
@@littlecatfeet9064 Yes, I was being provocative, but you're right - it's the stereotyping that's really wrong. Glad you enjoy your parachuting: that's all the reason you need for it.
Great to hear Genevieve, thank you.
i clicked on because of the interesting title, I thought I'd listen till I'd got the gist of the topic then click on something else. 50mins plus is a long conversation,
but it was compelling and easy listening, talking sense in a mad clown world, thank you to you both, great informative, and thought provoking interview.
Thank you for your work, everyone.
Thank you for making the link with pornography. This is astonishingly evil - and making a lot of money for an industry that shouldn't exist.
The only thing that makes the Trans cult different from your average cult, is that there isn't a single individual for them to hover around. This isn't a cult of personality. But it's a cult all the same.
Doesn't this all have its roots in the reification of gender? Gender used to be a rarely used term reserved for the study of grammar. With Money and his ilk it went from being a word meaning the cultural expression of male and female people to something "real" that can be "chosen". The only rational response to this is to say that actually you can't choose your gender (especially in law) anymore than you can choose to be a duck. In many ways this seems to be liberalism taken to its logical conclusion - if the individual is more important than the ties of inheritance (culture, biology etc) then why not choose everything about yourself. Add to that the destructive influence of the deconstructionist left and you have a recipe for the complete breakdown of basic social categories.
It’s true Money pushed the “gender ideology” idea. Others picked it up and ran with it.
However, we must resist using it instead of “sex”. A human cannot chose their “sex”.
What is "reification"?
Well said!👏
@@andrewrobinson2565 Seriously? If you’d typed that into google you’d already have the answer. 🙄
@@lilyweatherwaxHRH Good idea. I still haven't had the time to do it. I suppose it's not urgent and the meaning won't have changed when it reaches the top of my priorities. 😀
