Great box. In setting the battery monitor at rated amp hours and 100% charged there was no mention of setting when battery has been completely charged. These monitors are not that smart to be able to know exactly at what state of charge the battery is at.
don't you just charge it to 100% then hold the side arrow on the monitor to calibrate it to 100%? That being said I think it's a POS, always the volts are .2 amps less than if you use a multi to measure voltage directly to the battery or shunt.
Thats only if you purchase it now. I bought mine from BCF last month but it probably sat on the shelf for a year, so I have this version and no way to update to the new one....unless you know a way to update the firmware???

@@WrongTurnAdventures last question mate, do you find it accurate? My screen is .2v out when testing with a volt metre, been driving me nuts but Hardkorr don’t respond to my queries. Doesn’t sound like much but actual 12.9 vs seeing 12.7 is a big difference for an AGM
gday mate, my bluetooth battery monitor doesnt seem to be reading accurately? if i reset it to the right setting etc it just constantly and slowly just drops down in percentage and ah even though my dcdc charger states the battery is fully charged? doesnt read either when the car is on and that its charging? any tips or advice? thanks
@AaronButtigieg i actually sorted mine out, i dont know how yours is wired up but all the negatives have to go to the shunt and only 1 negative from the shunt to the battery, hope this helps
@@lachlanmoloney9591look at Harford’s website it has a video on connecting. He’s 100-% right but you have to make sure you’re using the right side of the shint
@@lachlanmoloney9591 correct, all negatives from the things you're running like lights, USB, solar, DCDC need to go to one of the sides of the shunt (can't remember which side) and the other side of the shunt goes to the battery negative terminal/
Absolutely useless clip. As an expert it introduces many contradictions and as a novice it’s meaningless. Might as well be audio only because it shows nothing you’re talking about.

no it just beeps at you

Also I see the monitor had 0.8 discharge. Mine has this at rest and I can only think it's this monitor thats causing the discharge?
@@Portyhouse yes this unit uses 0.08 with the screen off and 0.15 with the screen active.

as in all the negatives from everything you're running in your set up have to go through the shunt then one wire from the shunt to the battery
