Too funny most of your videos cover issues I've had with my Losi Laser Nut's. Parts, as you said are still difficult to get. So since I have two now. I dedicated one to a parts car to maintain the less damaged one. 😂.

That is one reason why I bought a lasernut slider from ebay for $225 .so that I have parts for my used $365 lasernut w/4s battery.
Good info as usual. A backup rc definitely comes in handy when parts are scarce.
I def see how the front feels underbuilt for the 4S power. I've already broke a upper suspension arm and a wheel bearing blew apart. I ordered the Tekno drives to address that.
Next is to add steel hinge pin holders, front and rear bumpers, aluminum braces, exotek steering, upgrade all bearings, shocks (oil, springs or whatever), and possibly try lower wider wheels for various terrain. This thing pins though and it's fun to drive
Saw somewhere a longer servo arm makes a difference. Seemed to work for me.

Hey man ik this is a little late but to help with breaking dog bones from bottoming out you can put just about 1/4 inch of fuel hose from a dirt bike or something and put it in there. They act like bump stops and keep the cups from maxing out on the shafts

I swapped to tekno and im 30+ batteries though them and no problems at all after breaking 3 sets of the stock shafts. Very minimal sanding was needed for the cups to fit in the diff housing but i would 100% recommend that route they are noticable beefier

No sure Losi should be using 2-3S parts on a 4S machine. Hence the breakage everyone is experiencing. Just a thought🤔

Control arms no front knuckle, hubs and steering linkage yes but that's only because I've had a lot of abusive Smiles for Miles with it.
it will be interesting to see if you have any problems with the db cvd's in the nut.

4s yes does put additional stain BUT I've only had that one axel break and really nothing else. My conversion is hard but not on it too

It was this one. The drivers side was okay after inspection as looking though the camera lens while still dirty looked like both had failed. Let's see how the new vs original holds up. POOR DB Pro though already using its Donor card
