I always envied the less intelligent..you know...how simple is their lives
Reminds me of the phrase “Ignorance is bliss”
Yeah that's pretty accurate
Indeed
Except, the ignorant people tend to think that they're smart. Dunning Kruger type thing.
Too much knowledge creates more confusions. Too much knowledge prevent ourselves from risk taking and desicon making And finally turns into analysis paralysis.
In some cases that is definitely the case but there are also many opportunities that we can only seize because we have specific knowledge.
FYI: the phrase "curse of knowledge" already exists and it is a cognitive bias.
The bias comes into existence when you talk to someone and assume that the other person has background knowledge and information on the topic at hand
when in reality he/she has no idea what is going on. Basically: you know something and think the other person knows it too, but they do not.
I wasn't aware that this bias exists and I only uncovered it after making this video, so I'm using the phrase "curse of knowledge " in the video but I'm not referring to the bias.
Hope you enjoy the video anyways and don't forget to hit the like button!
Having high iq is worst curse of them all...
Agreed, even being slightly above average can be frustrating and annoying.
Don't want to imagine what it is like to have a really high iq.
A blessing with terrible side effects :)
Agreed.
@@PersonalPower I have an IQ of 155. It's absolutely horrible.
My man's accent is so strong the subtitles are in a different language
No offense though :)
Wooops.
Excellent!
I would rather have curse of knowledge than myself now
It has it's pros and cons
I like your accent
The curse for you is the antidote for someone else. intelligence without wisdom however becomes an overdose when given. Thus the problem with what were doing today. Its a toxic overdose of knowledge and only a true monster swallows it without consequence . Yes knowledge makes you feel as if your a monster. Where there was paranoia without an answer now there are answers chemistry, physics, mechanical. You see more than you dont want everyday and less and less of what you want. You already drank of the cup for some the antidote sits at the bottom and others if needing one spitting it out all out. Knowledge none the less is most cases a poison to ones happiness, but there is hope. You'll see it one day. By the way the ones that have read this far. Youll never be alone in that and there is always always a little more. I can promise you. Left in your tank and left in this world.
