      Antarctica isn't a continent, it's all around us. Good luck with getting past it, they don't let us. Anyone knows what's beyond please let me know 👍 and please remember freemasons fake "outer space". There's no proof, there never was proof and there never will be proof. Thousands and thousands of satellites yet I can't get a photo of a satellites from another satellite, the list is long of streams and photos we would have if any of that was reality but sadly we only get computer generated images and data interpreted by artists that imagine what it might look like if it were real. "It's photoshopped, because it has to be" (nasa computer artist).

    I always love how straightforward your videos are! I’m currently using 2 Arctic P12s as exhaust for my Corsair AIO and I was blown away (literally) by how much more efficient they are at moving air than the 2 fans the AIO came with. I’m thinking about replacing the 4 Corsair LL120 RGB fans (3 Intake, 1 rear exhaust) with these Arctic ARGB ones. Thank you again for all your work and the content you produce! I love it

    Hi, Mike. The Arctic P12 and P14 have become my favorite fans. I prefer the 12V 4 pin RGB version. As I've said before, I only use a single static color, usually blue, so I only hook up the ground and the blue leads to get the color without installing any software. In regards to the mess of cables, I always cut and splice them together into groups of three so I only have one PWM cable and one RGB cable to connect per 3 fans.

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing  Před 2 lety +4

      i would prefer to trim the unused connections off, but i think in the back of my mind back to when i trimmed of the molex connections on a bequiet PSU and regretted it straight away when i got fans to test or a case that used the molex for RGB power etc. That episode has left a deep scar

      Totally agree, Oletta. Last Aug. I changed from 3 Thermaltake PURELed 12 Red and 1 stock TT cooler (40 CFM) fans to 4 ARCTIC P12 PWM No RGB (56.3 CFM). Config: 2 intake, 2 outtake. My 3 3,5" HDD's are always cool and I've seen a great improvement in the system.

      Do you think it's possible to run RGB on 6 of these from a single RGB 12V header? I checked my motherboard manual and it says the header can support 2A while each fan needs 0.2A. I would split the fans by 3 for the fan control itself.

    Thanks Mike for this review 🥳👋 I personally have Arctic P14 & 12’s in my builds and they’re awesome to use with great airflow and very quiet when under load 🥰👍. Arctic definitely smashing “cooling” outta the park wi their coolers, AIO’s and fans with vg pricing to match 🥰🥳. I love the RGB implementation here 🥰 and the design. I wish a new defacto standard would be implemented with RGB/Fans with a single connector (like pinned connectors founds on wireless pc case front panels) eliminating aaallllll the wires etc. great roundup review of this product and definitely worth buying imo. Cheers 🍻

    Great video, Mike! I bought four of Arctic's P12 PWM PST Slim fans for my mini ITX PC (mainly because I'm not a fan of RGB (no pun intended)) and they are fantastic. They perform great, they're super quiet and the price is very reasonable, at just $8 per fan. Not to mention, if any of the fans do go bad, I don't have to worry, because they have a ten year warranty. I'm super happy with my purchase.

    Nice timing, Mike, just got these for my PC and man did they help keeping 5600X in decent temps. No more of those high 80s (Celsius) or even low 90s. With the set of three of these fans, my temps, even with the stock cooler, are holding at low 80s at max. Still considering getting better cooler, but for the time being, these fans did miracle to my system.

    Not that you'd remember the message several months ago, but I got that Arctic fan hub working fine. It was a new build and the P12 Max connectors seat easily now, always did, it must have been bum luck it was the first one I put in that got slightly wedged. I got three of these to illuminate top down inside a lovely green Core P6 that looks a bit 'unfulfilled' sitting next to me... not personally into RGB, but they will function as a night light on white I figure... so I _am_ into RGB now.

  • @TomsManShed
    @TomsManShed Před 2 lety +3

    Nice fans and good review Mike but again I think Arctic have missed a trick by having solid black sides on the outer case part.
    My Lian Li case sits next to me on the desktop and the rad is at eye level...so basically I can't see any effect without bending my head down and looking up.
    Even the lovely Corsair LL fans used elsewhere in the case (which I can see great from the front) don't have any effect from the side.
    Hence I used Alpenfohn fans on the rad which have 2 narrow slits that the light comes through and are quite effective....that's all Arctic would have to do...cut one or more slits or even a full translucent window and the light from the "blade joining ring" would be visible from the side.....just a thought.

    To answer some of the questions you had at the end of the video Mike. Yes I use the PST, it helps keep things extremely tidy and prefer it that way. PWM with power sharing, and nice RGB, these pretty much hit the mark for anyone wanted a 120mm black rgb fan. I prefer pulse modulation over voltage regulation for RPM because it's supposedly more power efficient because of the 12v not needing to fluctuate. So yeah, totally agree with you, Quiet, nice RGB, PWM, and Power Sharing, really no cons on these fans. Just need more sizes and white versions. Thanks for showing these off, I think you'll agree these are better than Arctic's first shot at RGB.

    Been rocking a few of these for year and half now. Good speed range, decent lighting, and yes, cabling can be fiddly, you'll need velcro/zipties aplenty. But at least it's standard connections, not proprietary and you don't need a controller as you're daisy chaining them. Amazon currently have them for £10, which is still a great price considering the competition is at least double that.

    I'm about to start my build, and I noticed I have the same case, cooler, and fans as you. I was thinking about where/how to orient the fans and radiator. Because the case has a glass front, I was thinking of having 3x intake top and bottom, then exhaust 1 rear fan, then the radiator blowing out of the front/side. Is that what you're doing on yours? What is your fan orientation here?

    I'm wondering, to save space on the flyleads, wouldn't it make sense to snip off the female connectors - making sure to label each cable as to which pin it is, and then couple all equivalent pins using WAGO connectors, like you'd do in one of your home's junction boxes? Or is this not feasible to do?

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing  Před rokem

      sort of but the idea is that when you daisy chain these the ARGB length gets longer and the signal passes through rather than just replicating the signal.

      @@mikesunboxing I’d suggest then coupling the original leads into a wago with a lengthier cable which then connects into another wago which acts as the main junction. Like a power strip behind a tv -
