For me, Marc is best when he doesn't pull punches. His acerbic wit is a great counter point to Kevin's innocent wonder. These guys are the perfect ying and yang of pop culture. Fatman Forever.

Imagine if when the Fox merger goes through Disney decide to give us an X-men series with a GOT style budget. Season long story arcs of Age of Apocalypse, Days of future past, The phoenix saga etc. all done the Marvel/Disney way. Separate from the MCU and able to do so much more with their content and characters in episodic adventures.
This is by far the best way to have Marvel tackle the X-Men. Whatever budget is needed aside, the X-Men being an ensemble cast by its very nature, really need a long form storytelling venue to give all of the characters a chance to shine. The inherent social issues that the characters are forced to deal with need more than a 2 hour movie to really be explored as well.

I actually really enjoyed the BET Black Panther mini series. I've been through the whole season and was upset that wasn't a second one.
it was the first time I ever really got a chance to delve into and learn about the character Black Panther (which up until that point was only aware of black panther as "that one Marvel character who kind of looks like Batman and will pop up in cartoons every once in awhile") and I liked what I saw, which got me more excited when I found out he was going to be in Captain America: Civil War.
Give it another chance Marc! It's just SIX episodes to binge...

A character I'd like to see in a stand-alone series is X-23 by Daphne Keen, but not in the Fox timeline. Terrible time for the character since the X-Men haven't even been introduced into the MCU, but I really liked that character in Logan.

Kevin Smith has a very pleasing singing voice. These folks should be pitch being a band in a bar in the next Star wars movie. His face deserves to be on screen in cannon. Not in armour. Be awesome if he were a laborer building a death base who played in a local band after work. So we see him in the background through half of the movie. Like LL Cool J in crush groove.

I recently just watched Solo and absolutely loved it. I can't figure out why the movie is getting so much hate. I'll admit that the guy playing Solo was the weakest element but everything else was so good that it more than made up for him. I especially love how they fixed the Kessel Run
