At the end of the day, Relevo informed that Xavi and Laporta had exchanged messages on WhatApp, which reduced the degree of conflict and increased Xavi's chances of keeping his job.
Nevertheless, Sport.es and Mundo Deportivo outlets claimed that Laporta had made the decision to say goodbye to Xavi.
