    The best looking fireblade imo.
    I like thise one alot, i like the pointy front end, and the subframe is just amazingly made, especially the undertail exhaust. The bike is a marvel all over, it's just so damn beautiful.

      Totally agree. Not a huge fan of the skinny tail and side pipe on the newer versions. Wouldn’t mind the engine from one though 😂

      best overall fireblade imo but the lack of a pointy front end is actually why the 2004 will always cosmetically be my favorite

      Fully recommend a trip there if you’ve never been. Great place! Will be more videos coming up on the Isle of Man 😊

    Loved this video. You have a calm way of narrating. Soft on the ear. I have the graphite black version. A 2006 model. Bought it in 2011.Will never sell it. Still my dream bike! Greetings from South Africa.

    Is a fantastic machine. since you mentioned the Ducati, I own an MV Agusta 1000RR and the CBR is a fantastic bike to ride. The CBR is extremely easy to ride.

    4:35 I prefer analogue forever over
    digital, this way everything is 'known'
    peripherally, it's very hard to read digital
    without looking directly at it. Beautiful
    bike, inline 4's at 7k + rpm put out the best
    sound of any bike.

    • @CharltonsClassics
      @CharltonsClassics  Před 9 měsíci

      Yeah it wasn't really a criticism. I've always enjoyed watching a needle wind its way up the tachometer. And it does sound incredible on full song...although for me I think the V4 pips it for sound note 🤔

      For some reason, I never warmed
      to the V4 tones, that inline 4 for
      me is the best 'noise' ever , next
      best would be a jet engine.
      shrugs.. Cheers from US.

    Nice mate, Got one of these myself in Repsol colours 2007 model the best looking fireblade ever if you ask me, all though I do like the look of the new ones they are just so pricey. Got Full Arka with Arrow Headers and had it remaped on a dyno made 163 bhp at the wheels :) also put a quickshifter and gear indicator. Fanastic bike to ride very easy, I came from a ZXR400 on an A2 license and had no issues jumping into this. The new bikes are just so expensive and the power isn't very usable on UK roads.

    • @CharltonsClassics
      @CharltonsClassics  Před rokem +2

      Yeah I definitely agree. I’m not so keen on the skinny tail of the new ones and I love the under seat exhaust. She is just so compliant and does everything with ease. A joy to ride and puts newer bikes to shame. And as you say, hard to find a nicer colour scheme on a bike 😊.
      Ride safe👌🏼

      @@CharltonsClassics Agreed mate love the under seat exhaust and its a dead breed now, They are most likely never going to make a production superbike with an underseat exhaust ever again. Have a good one!

    Didnt the 2007 have black swingarm? Is it possible this is 2006 model but first registered in 2007?

    • @CharltonsClassics
      @CharltonsClassics  Před 6 měsíci

      Erm I’m not really an expert in this area but from what I’ve just seen on google, the ‘old shape’ HRC Fireblade was the 2007 model with the silver swingarm.
      I did see some black bikes with a black swingarm of this year too though…

    Hello, I just bought one. do you know how the sliders bolt on and do you know why they don’t come with a fuel gauge?

    • @CharltonsClassics
      @CharltonsClassics  Před 4 měsíci

      Great choice of bike if i don't say so myself!
      In terms of the frame sliders, you will need to replace the engine mount bolts with the ones in the kit you buy.
      Personally I don't really trust the 'non cut' sliders that wrap around the fairing. They are not as strong. But for the standard sliders you will need to cut a hole in the fairing. I drilled a small hole and burred it out with a Dremel until it fit perfectly.
      As for the fuel gauge, I've never really found a great need for one. You get about 120 miles on a full tank before the light comes on (mixed riding) so if you reset the trip meter each refuel, it's pretty much the same as a fuel gauge.
      Enjoy 😀

    • @NudaMan
      @NudaMan Před 4 měsíci

      Lmao a fuel gauge on a sc57? 😂 you buy a 2017+ Gsxr 1000 if you want a fuel gauge lol this bike is from 06-07 where you count the fuel trip miles until the light comes on

    being able to read your license plate,
