Right now the Sky should focus to building out a Team for the Future. That means picking up Taylor. Eventually, they will work out their 3 point issues. But right now, the priority should be adding Taylor. Because no matter what, Dallas has the option to swap first Round picks with the Sky.
Kysre doesn’t get playing time but that’s her role.

Celeste Taylor and Carter would compliment each other extremely well. The Sky would be smart to pick up Taylor. When somebody let's go a player that can FIT your team, you make it happen. The Sky is rebuilding for the Future. Taylor should be a part of that future. They literally gave up a King's Ransom to get Marina Mabrey which was so bad of a deal that Dallas can swap First Round Picks with the Sky. So even if the Sky ended up with the top overall draft pick, they would lose it to Dallas.
That was a very dumb trade for Mabrey. She’s too inconsistent for what they gave up.
Sky needs a more active guard for sure and since Angel hangs back in transition or gets steals herself, them working in tandem would be crazy. They also traded their future away for Mabrey which hasn't been great. Taking on another star rookie would help the franchise immensely.
I would like to see Dallas wings pick her up she would be back with Sheldon teammates at OSU.👍😀😀😀
Taylor would be a good fit for the Sky. She plays D and she’s hungry, all she needs is an opportunity. The Fever didn’t know what they had.

Chicago Sky can definitely use her talent. Her addition will help Carter. She will definitely allow De Sheds to go off on the floor. Also, will help the shooting g guards.

She belongs in the W. A defensive stopper and a decent shot. If you go back and look at some of the FIBA games when she was an amateur you’ll see she was a baller. And played twice the minutes that Clark did.
Quita I'm confused when you use the terms, "chemistry" and "family focused". Chemistry is established over time by playing as a team with one another; and as for 'family focused', they're supposed to be a professional basketball team, put together for the purposes of winning, and not a family owned "mom and pop" store or restaurant business. I watch the Sky and love the tenacity they try to play with on the defensive end as well as how Angel and Kamilla are impacting winning but if you know you have a glaring need on the offensive end (reliable 3-point shooting) and the player the Sky drafted - (Brenna Maxwell) is the best woman's college 3-point shooter (both in percentage and attempts) in the country - and then she's waived, the terms "chemistry" and "family focused" sound a bit odd. By the way, you and your mom do an amazing job (thank you both) of covering the team! It's just an observation when one considers the games the Sky should have won but lost or when we can't counter teams that have 3-point shooting. I thought Kysre G was supposed to be the teams 3-point specialist. Just seems like the Sky have to work way harder to compete on that end of the floor.

@@ALLCITY73 my apologies Mabrey, I do not mean to be so nonchalant when it comes to someone's job. I definitely do not want to take food off anyone's table. Mabrey is definitely a talent in an asset. And I do not want to serm harshly on judgment because of this rivalry between the sky and the fever. But Mabrey makes critical mistakes that have cost the sky a game and almost cost another game.
This by no means represents her talent as a basketball player she is an outstanding elite player.
But you need more than just talent in order to win.
Also I am returning back to the WNBA.
I stopped watching after the time of Cynthia Cooper and Lisa Leslie.

I was kind of hoping either Chicago or Atlanta would pick up Odyssey Sims. She can do a bit of everything and has veteran presence.
Yeah, the first team I thought about for Taylor was the Sky. Next was the Mystics. Third was the Mercury. I think she would fit in very well in Phoenix, but that's just me.

If she's added now to Chicago, who do you cut? Gondrizak? Rookie for rookie? Mystics on hardship contract sounds more likely. I thought maybe Atlanta or Dallas but they both added guards the last day or two.
Everyone talking about their need for 3 point shooting, but the Sky need reliable shooting from mid range as well. The obsession with 3 point shooting is hurting the game at all levels. I'm seeing lots of poor shot selection with players. Everybody can't shoot like Curry or Clark, but they can still contribute to a team by at least being able to score more consistently from mid range. I commented before about Reese just needing a decent step back mid range jumper and better footwork in the paint to benefit her overall game. Reese does so many other things for the Sky. Therefore, there isn't a need for her to shoot logo 3s every game. The mid range was a big part of MJ's and Kobe's offensive game so what's wrong with it now. I know people are going to be quick to say the game has changed, but you don't need everyone trying to shoot 3s when too many players already suck at free throws and higher percentage shots at mid range. in other words, there are too many missed opportunities at mid range at all levels in basketball.
My second and third choices for Celeste would be Washington or Chicago. I think Angel Reece would love to have the gem that the Fever never gave a chance!!!
If not the Sky, the Storm should waive Muhl and take on Taylor!

I have a show topic for about our last roster spot. I think we 3 point shooting, Playmaking and Defense off the bench. Either from 1 person or from 2 ppl if we can free up another roster spot. I'm a new fan so you can explain why some of those ladies aren't on teams because looking at their highlights they seem to be better than some women that are on teams. I know theirs only 144 spots. But it seems like a lot of talent isn't in the league and maybe 1 or 2 of them could help us.
I would love to see her in Chicago but I am curious to see if Dallas is interested in her because I heard CEO Greg Bibb say in an interview how Ohio State plays a style of basketball similar to the Dallas Wings. That is why they drafted Jacy Sheldon. Now that Celeste is available, she being another Ohio State player and teammate of Jacy, it may be a good fit. So I am curious as to whether they are going to try to pick her up because of that reason and also because they've got some players injured right now too.

Everything you said was spot on. She would be amazing with the sky. I think most of us, if you are a Sky fan, know who she would replace (and I love Gondrezick no shade lol). However, again, it comes down to that chemistry. I think they would all be welcoming but they are already all so close. It's just interesting.
Also, since we are talking about Fever, maybe we need to talk about Caitlyn Trading lmao. I know it is probably unrealistic but that Sky vs. Fever game showed me that she and Aaliyah Boston aren't enough to keep that team afloat at this point. And maybe it's because tensions were high but Caitlyn threw some fire passes but her teams kept missing. And even the players not responding to Aaliyah that well, really had me perplexed. Just my thoughts but I could be wrong, I haven't watched the Fever play enough to have anything concrete to say. I just know that what I saw at the sky game from them had me side-eyeing the players miscommunication issues with Caitlyn and Aaliyah because they played amazing
