Everyone is now a Expert at coaching. We don't know what happens if Coach uses a different defensive set. It's not like Kamilla Cardoso has not been beaten on plays before. Granted, she was playing out of her mind defensively this game. But we will never know if that would have continued on that play. Maybe she fouls her, who knows, maybe she blocks her shot. So just because we FANS think we know what would or should have worked does not mean it would have worked instead of what actually happened.

4th quarter of the season now. Playoffs on the line we are about to see some really great basketball be played. I HOPE SKY CAN GET TO 20 WINS !

Cardosa and Reese sre going to play well with one another. The Sky twin scrapers along with Carter and an additional two draftees and some veteran players the Sky will be in contention for a championship next year or two max.

Angel Reese do you have best to hang underneath the basket so she can get a rebound or Miss layups for a rebound she need to be out of there taking shots and letting Camilla do her job on the court

It is to the point now where Angel is stealing rebounds from Cardoso and other bigs. That is the ultimate in stat padding because those rebounds do not add additional value to your team. In addition, she is spending too much energy grabbing rebounds under the buckets when her team needs her to spend more energy making buckets. Just silly and goofy.

2nd game in a row that they lose by only 2--against 2 of the top teams in the league! i hope these players know that they are something special in the making! i hope spoon can keep them on track mentally to keep pushing a stick with it! it was a great game to watch and an even better effort by the sky! angel continues to impress me (NEVER thought she'd have this kinda success at this level). and i hope that all the hype and praise that caitlin got for her triple double will be matched from the fans and media for angel and her 20-20-20 performances! first EVER (rookie or vet) to do it! the new streak is at 3....

We just saw Mabrey in Atlanta, and she's fire. Everyone sitting around us was saying they're glad she moved to Connecticut. They are showing her some respect. Carter scares me. For real.

Nah that’s childish in my opinion!!! Idc if she did wanna leave, at the end of the day she made the move that was best for her & according to what she wanted. Everybody in this chat know Sky ain’t winning no championship! I understand how they feel, but it’s CHILDISH to HOLD that grudge and ignore her. 💯 & she knows more than any of us what went on behind the cameras with the Sky. She left for a few reasons. She don’t want all that negativity attached to her name. We don’t know ALL of what made her request a trade, and we can’t speak on any of it. It’s just weird and childish as GROWN women to ignore and continue to hold that against her.

Pfffft Marina went off last night. 24 points. 5/7 from 3. I wouldn't expect that the Sky would jump to greet her and I'm sure she didn't expect that they would. I mean when you ask for a trade your former team is, more than likely, not going to be very happy with you. That said, you can't really blame her for wanting to go to a team that actually has a legit shot at winning it all... and she's right about not having been on a team with a championship mindset. The Sky, certainly, don't have that in place right now. This game really could have gone either way. Before the game I thought the Sun would run away with this one, but they came out flat and missed a ton of shots early on and the Sky hung around just close enough to put themselves in striking distance. LOTS of iffy calls both ways and many of them left me shaking my head. Can I just interject here that Chennedy Carter...whew man... someone needs to talk to her. She's the real difference on this team and is going to be on a nightly basis, but, while I love her drive and passion, she needs to learn to harness that passion, because I'm just waiting for the day when she blows a freakin' gasket and things get super ugly. This team can't afford to not have her out there and her minutes ended up being limited because she got herself in foul trouble, butttt... that's going to happen when you're trying to do it all/trying to do too much. She STILL led the team in points with limited minutes, but she needs help. I thought Cardoso looked solid. Reese had one of her better games, in my opinion (though I've developed a theory about her that's not going to be popular amongst Sky/Angel fans... I'll leave that for another time). Alyssa Thomas had a better game than anyone on the Sky side and while the Sky actually shot better all the way around in this one, the turnovers are what cost them. 12 of Chicago's 16 TOs were the result of steals. Bottom line... good teams find ways to win even when sometimes it means snatching one.
