Thanks Robin for showing this deck. I've only recently finished reading Joanna Moorhead's book 'Surreal Spaces, The Life & Art of Leonora Carrington'. One of the many illustrations is The Star card. The book also contains interesting photos. :)
I have only just watched this Robin, one I missed for some reason. I like this deck and am thinking of getting it myself more for the historical value like yourself 🥰
Yes, as much as I love her paintings, this art and format is not really so much my thing either. I think I feel similiarly about Rachel Pollack's deck. Stylistically it doesn't suit me, but both women were so inspiring that they tempt me to collect them just as art objects honoring them. I'm still on the fence about Shining Tribe, but have it on one of my lists.
