Big thanks to Housemarque for this free upcoming update. Returnal was a surprisingly fantastic game and I'm very much looking forward to the Tower of Sisyphus. Joining others for co-op should be fun as well.

@@Coopa1oop Coopa1oop doesn't understand how game development works. This DLC was made in advance. At the same time as the original game. It's a business strategy. They withhold content for DLC, seasons etc. Much better off to include it originally ( it was £70 ) or hold it back for a full sequel. But yeah. They love you personally and your money so much they are just being generous 😅😅😅😅🤡

I still can't believe how they managed to retain the gameplay from previous games and transfer it to a 3rd person shooter. Fast, precise and so chaotic that it's hypnotizing! Big respect to HouseMarque!

I love it, I love the world building, art design, sound design and gameplay of this game, and to me, it's my Goty 2021.

I wouldn't mind more Returnal DLC but a part two I don't think it will happen as Housemarque's next project is a new IP.
They said they are making a new IP, so Returnal 2 will not happen for a while.

I love how you can still see Housemarque’s arcade roots in Returnal. This game’s gunplay is a huge achievement.
I doubt any of the devs will read this, but I think some Gyro aim support would improve the gameplay even more.

Aesthetically the best sci-fi horror work I've ever experienced. Returnal knows really well what It wants to be. I hope Sony makes more IPs like this one. Congrats everyone!
This game is up there with Demon's Souls and Astro's Playroom as the best exclusives on PS5.

Returnal was my clear Game of the Year. It was nothing short of simply amazing. I am not a friend of endless high score hunting modes but rather like to work towards a clear point like a final boss, altho I see how this mode would be appealing for many players. So even if this is not my exact cup of tea, I am exilerated to see that this game is still getting new content.

Returnal is amazing and with a total focus on gameplay, which in my opinion is lacking in many games. Developers are more concerned with graphics and stories and leaving gameplay aside.
Congratulations to Housemarque for all the work done, and see you soon RETURNAL 2.

This game drove me absolutely insane, but I paid $70 for it and I haven't played it in months, so I guess it's time to get back into it.
I found it tedious.
I love the systems and combat, did not love the roguelike repeat stuff. Abusing cloud storage to keep going made it tolerable, which is a shame, everything else was superb.
Returnal is amazing. Co-op will be so awesome! We will escape atropos together! 🤝

I absolutely loved Returnal, and was extremely happy with my experience. My personal game of the year for 2021 (and basically my favorite game for the last several years that wasn't by FromSoft). I wasn't expecting more from House Marque for years and instead you drop on me a surprise update with more content. Yes please and thank you!

I dont understand why people complaint about the campaign being too short. What makes this game really fun is its replayability and unpredictability. Compared to other grindy open world games that would require 100+hr to finish, this game is the perfect gem to me.
A Treat for Returnal Fans for once again visiting the game...The Game is so amazing that the patterns of the orbs while facing is a delight to the eyes when facing boss fights

The blog literally says that co-op is available at the start of a run and in several other places. The tower is one of those places. If you watch the trailer from State of Play it shows co-op in the Tower.

When it comes to gameplay, Returnal excels. It took me 15 or 16 deaths to beat the game, and none of them felt unfair. Instead, they just spurred me on to get better or make different weapon/item choices.
Can’t wait to jump back in. One of the most challenging games I’ve beaten in a long time
