  • Adult male bettas are usually 3 inches long while females are 2.5 inches.
    Giant Betta Fish Care (Tank & Environment)
    Never fill the tank to the full as your betta may need to access the surface to gulp air. This is why they don’t need air pumps. You should also ensure you have a lid on the tank as the species can jump and leap out.
    The tank size is 45*30*30cm.
    What is a koi betta fish?
    This is a selectively bred marbled betta. It displays a color pattern similar to a koi fish. Their koi-like color portions and patterns gave rise to their name. Usually having black, yellow, red or orange color patches, they are quite expensive compared to the marbled betta.

    One of the best builds I've seen so far, not overly complicated yet stunning.
    Been doing reef tank for over 10 years and this video inspired me to start a freshwater tank that looks like this.
    I think the real magic here is the way you carved out the expanding foam to actually looks like a real rock which is way out of my league with my clumsy hands.
    Do you think constructing the basic structure with PP board and then gluing slates and pebbles over it will work out? or the weight of those slates simply doesn't hold up?

    • @ferretwonderland
      @ferretwonderland  Před 3 lety +1

      Doing reef tank is more difficult than freshwater tank.

      Betta fish can survive without a filter, but it's not the ideal setup for their well-being. A filter helps maintain water quality by removing debris and toxins, creating a healthier environment for the betta. Without a filter, you'll need to be diligent in performing regular water changes to keep the water clean.
