- Hi here is a Betta Fish Tank. One of the latest editions to our group of tanks. It’s a (mini) nano tank that’s just 25 cm (10 inch) Cube. It’s quite appropriate for a Betta. The scape is an Iwagumi Style Aquascape. Seiryu stone is used as hardscape and has sand in foreground which according to me complements quite well with the layout. As all our planted tanks this too is a non co2 injected tank. Hope you will like this video.

This looks wonderful but some water lettuce or any other big floating plants is always good for bettas. They like to roam around hunting bugs.
A litle cave for these kind of fish to hide is also nice.
Thankyou 🙏
Beautiful little scape! Handsome Betta also.
Thankyou 🙏
Amazing aquascape, thanks for sharing!
Thankyou 🙏
Really loved this scape! Great work!
Thankyou 🙏
Awsome! High quality scape and video. Very pleasant too. Thanks for sharing the experience.
Thankyou 🙏
It’s beautiful! Thank you for sharing 🥰🥰🥰🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thankyou 🙏
Really beautiful!! Enjoy it!!
Thankyou 🙏
Very nice scape! 👍
Thankyou 🙏
I think it’s a beautiful little scape and I think Mr. Betta is very handsome! And since he was probably not a wild caught betta it doesn’t really matter what his natural habitat would look like because he didn’t grow up in it. I don’t understand why some people go to all the trouble of typing out a snarky comment. Keep up the good work! In fact, I’m going to subscribe right now so I can see more of your work. 💕
Thankyou 🙏
I am glad that you liked my work.
Because bettas love to hide in sleep in thick plant growth and you will litterally notice the difference in behaviour
True.. haters gonna hate. awesome scape in my opinion
@@Tangcool971 Thankyou 🙏
@@Tangcool971 this has nothing to do with hate. Bettas just don’t like it bright, need many hiding places and always some swimming plants to hide under, it’s in there genetics.
Hermoso trabajo.
Gracias

Nice work bro!
Thankyou 🙏
Very very nice
Thankyou 🙏
Great job,, the only thing that i would have added is,, just a few super slight spots of darker green & red plants sprinkled around just for a lil more variety.
Thankyou 🙏
WOW ✨👏👏👏

5:50 Life Changing Decision for the whole scape ♥
Definitely agree 😊🙏
It's a very nice post, my friend, I just discovered you. ❤❤
Thankyou 🙏
😍 Beautiful scape bro..and good videography and editing 😊
Thankyou 🙏
Great job , thanks
Greetings from Poland .
Thankyou 🙏
Beautiful! One lucky betta!
Thankyou 🙏
Any chance of some swim room for the betta? it's all taken up!
Nice
Thankyou 🙏
i really like that
Thankyou 🙏
Очень красиво
Thankyou 🙏
Awesome scape, especially without CO2.
Buuuut, that’s absolutely no tank for a betta.
Way to bright, no hiding places (like many plants to hide in or swimmingplants to hide under) and Bettas should be kept alone, no second betta or other fish, you can try it with shrimps, but they might end as food. Snails always worked (in my case) but I already heard storys about Bettas who don’t even accept them. 😂
Thankyou 🙏
I watched a great video.
Outlet standards of Eheim 150 products 9/12 and inlet standard 12/16.
Is the LILY PIPES specifications in the video like the Outlet and inlet standards of Eheim 150?
In the description, the LILY PIPES specifications are written at 9mm.
Thankyou 🙏
Yes eheim gives outlet of 9mm and inlet of 12mm in classic 150 and I have used 9mm for both inlet and outlet, for inlet as it’s bigger just cut a little piece of 9mm tube given with the filter and first fit that piece on the lily pipe and than the 12mm pipe over it and you are good to go.
Thank you for this info! I had the same question. I am planning on scaping a 10 gallon tank. Do you think I could use the same filter/lily pipe setup?
Great scape! Where did you get the fan shaped outflow head?
Thankyou 🙏
I got the fan shaped outflow from Litiaquaria (Singapore) (litiaquaria.com)
WOW
Thankyou 🙏
Beautiful like always!! Does the tropica soil turn to mush like al other soils? If read it is good for long therm but I thought all soils fall apart.
Thankyou 🙏
See all soils do turn into mush more or less but I have been using Tropica since a year or May be even more but still it’s not that bad at all I have found extreme less portion turning into mush
@Pim Neij I have found a video that makes diy aquasoil using that method we can make aquasoil as hard as required so that it doesnt turn into mush.
Here I'm dropping link of that video hope it helps youczcams.com/video/9OEp-J3hkpo/video.html
Excellent in every way. Thank you for sharing. I am going to copy this stone by stone.
Thankyou 🙏
Hey cool setup. How do you have the glass glued without the remains of glue visible?
Thankyou 🙏
The tank is ready made tank. The makers make it very precisely with minimal silicon and extra clear glass.
@@nature_scape is there any lead or link for me to buy the same tank. All the ones I am getting is looking very bad with its glue remains visible and shape wise as well.
What is the brand name of cosmetic sand that you're using? Looks very nice and natural
It’s a brand called river natura ( it’s sold by this name in india )
As an alternative you can try Pool sand
I’ve used the same build today for my cherry bomb shrimp colony and it looks wow! Okay it took me 4/5 hours but it’s done.
Glad to hear that…
@@nature_scape you rock! I wish you all the best and many more videos ahead of you.
Thankyou 🙏
Looks good. How many otos do you have in there?
Thankyou 🙏
There are 2 ottos
Looks great! One question: at 5:23 you fill it with water to make the soil more stable but release it afterwards to continue with the scaping?
Thankyou 🙏
water was filled to make the soil totally wet as wet soil is more stable and do not roll too much and gives a good grip to the hardscape (in my experience). So later water was drained to continue with the scaping as scaping without water filled is easier.
Thanks for the fast reply, thought so but wasn't sure@@nature_scape
❤
Thankyou 🙏
Did you attacched real plant with stone with attack glue? Doesn't roots dies?
You can definitely use glue but I prefer thin fishing line instead
Awesome scape!! bdw..what is the name of the other fish in this scape? Is Mr. Betta going well with that other fish? I'd 2 cherry shrimps in my planted betta tank, but my Betta used to run after them.
Thankyou 🙏
That’s otocinclus catfish, and yes Mr betta doesn’t mind them in the tank but with shrimps I have seen bettas going after them but in most cases they cannot catch them but still initially they will try to hunt them down but usually later give up chasing.
@@nature_scape oh okay..thanks for the info👍
❤❤❤
Thankyou 🙏
🥰🥰🥰
Thankyou 🙏
Ok so what is that mark on the glass mines did the same thing what does it meannnn?
May I exactly know what mark you are asking about ?
Le Betta magnifique vraiment , cependant , les Bettas preferes un courant assez faible est ici ... le courant est puissant . Puis les Bettas aimes les cachettes , priviligier des anubias à grande feuille ou autre plantes à cachette .
Once having an established eco-system (as you have here).there is no longer a need for the filter (eyesore) because the plants are the filter.
That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard keeping any aquatic animal without a proper filter is animal cruelty
@FinnPetrak You clearly need to do your research/homework,, Just in case you haven't noticed,, There are no filters in your local pond.
@@happymethehappyone8300 sir my local pond has much more water innit that 20 to 30l and a lot more natural filtration through the different layers of substrate
@@happymethehappyone8300 you can have an aquarium without any mechanical filtration and so without any water flow but only if your substrate level is high enough and contains a lot of porous material with a big surface area like JBL volcano mineral so that bacteria have a place to live. But even with all that and enough biomass in form of plants I would never keep fish in an aquarium like this maybe a few snails or some shrimp but they need heating so a tank without any technology at all is simply not suited for animals
@@FinnPetrak I respect your opinion.
Maravilhoso 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thankyou 🙏
😍👍😍👍😍👍😍👍😍👍
Thankyou 🙏
what's the other tiny fish on the wall?
Ottocinclus
How to prevent algae and snails issue in this tank? I have made Betta tank before, but neither neocaridina shrimp nor Carinotetraodon fish can't live with Betta Fish, shrimp been eaten, the other would attack Betta. Anyway, thx for sharing such beautiful aquascape.
Thankyou 🙏
The first thing is floating plants. Second thing I would say is manually removing algae and regular water changes and maintenance and once the tank is established and mature than algae will not be a big of a problem in my experience
Red cherry shrimps go well with betta.
What frosted film is that? Do you have a link?
It’s a plain white vynl. Just search white vynl on amazon or similar online sellers and you will get several options
@@nature_scape but yours is not actually white but frosty.
untuk mengganti seluruh air aquarium bagusnya berapa kali om
Sebulan sekali atau setahun sekali. maaf pemula
Water needs to be changed every week 30-40%
I would LOVE to see something for an Axolotl!!
Try to betta's galaxy multycolor or blue rim..👌😊
Sure 🙏
Lovely scape, quick questiondoes seriyu stone affect shrimps and fish negatively even if you do a weekly water change?
Thankyou 🙏
In my experience that totally depends on the amount of stone compared to the volume of tank plus the hardness of water used.
@Nature sCape Thanks for the info! Really loving your work, giving me a lot of inspiration.
Please share the brand of the glue for plants
It’s for an Indian brand called pidilite
Where is the background film from please ?
It’s a simple white vynl
Does it need co2?
No it doesn’t need co2
thankyou.i will setup it@@nature_scape
sir whenever I add fish food in aquarium, after sometime the food goes to bottom and I can't see it because of the rocks, so will the fish be able to eat this in between stones? My stones are small in size and there are alot of it, I dont think so that the fish can push the tiny stone and eat the food. so what to do? should I removed these stones and replace it with something else? please any suggestion???
I would say just feed the amount which the fishes eat before it sinks. Plus some times the fishes may be able to eat the food between the rocks but the remaining accumulated food will rot and will be a problem in long run.
@@nature_scape thanks for quick reply, I'm also thinking of changing the stone size (by little big one)
@@jasminekaif8546 if you feel like doing so you can surely do that but always feed in limited quantity as too much feeding will be bad for fishes health as well as for the water parameters (in my experience)
@@nature_scape ok Sir
Đẹp
Thankyou 🙏
The scape is amazing! If you put there some snail and shrimp, it would be perfect. Buuuut, It is sooo small for a betta :'(. At least double of the volume required... And yeah it will survive, but wont be happy :'(((
Thankyou 🙏
Aqua scape looks incredible! I recently cut an acrylic lid for my open top design, my betta jumped and committed suicide….
Thankyou 🙏
and sorry to hear about your betta
I Never successful planting blyxa japonica in low tech tank.. they keep shrinking
In my experience blyxa likes soft water so if you are using tap water than do check it’s hardness and if it’s too hard than use RO water and see how it does
No co2 ?
Nope. All scapes that I have are non co2
How many gallons is it?
It’s 4.3 US Gallons
no c02 ?
Nope
and how is beta not eating this pleco?
It’s an Otto
google traduttore
Nice but looks more like an amazon. For beta anubias many plants to hide and floating plants for its lair made of bubbles.. Dark bottom and not clear amber water, and a very slight current. I repeat nice tub but I would change the tenants
Thankyou 🙏
nice but it seems you got algae issue on your tank
Thankyou 🙏
Yes I do have algae. And I would like to add that no planted tank is without algae there is some algae somewhere as it’s a part of the aquascaping I would say 🙂
Dont let mr betta flare too long as flaring is tiring for the betta. Too much will make his health decrease. Beautiful scape tho
Thankyou 🙏
And Thankyou for the information as well, Will surely keep that in mind 🙂👍
Medidas del acuario

the filter is an over kill
Ci vuole un coperchio. Il Betta salta fuori.
Inoltre lui esce per respirare aria e si trova un aria fredda e non umida. Con un coperchio questo non succede. Sorry
That otto so loneley, give him/her pair :(
There are already 2 ottos in the tank
@@nature_scape thank god
Fish alone are no good😢....
The thing is. This fish wants to be alone.
@@tinorjack719 you're right I studied fish 🤙
@@SamuraiRokerollenot this fiah its a beta it will kill all other betas it has to stay alone..
Don't waste the money on a cartridge filter for such a small tank unless you are just rich. It is massive overkill.
Too bad it looks nothing like a Betta's natural habitat.
💩💩💩💩😂
@@nanoscaper1999 ?
U are right but hey, its only a fish so you dont have to take that in consideration apperently
Perhaps, but then it isn't keeping tropical fish anymore. It's Aquascaping now which seems to mean that you can ' copy ' a waterfall down a mountain slope or ( even more absurd ) the floating islands from Avatar in the aquarium. It doesn't require any skill just an unbridled phantasy and love of the ridiculous.
So he should have gone with the stagnant pond asthetic or maybe built a nano rice paddy for on top of his desk?🤡
❤
Thankyou 🙏
