    I’m making 2 blankets now for my 2 boys, they found this yarn and loved it and asked me to please make them a blanket. They only have the 100g so I am probably going to have to use about 13 to make a good size blanket for them. I wish I had seen this size you are showing in this video, I wonder if it would’ve been more cost effective. Either way, I”m enjoying making this. Easy to use. Just don’t get in a hurry and accidentally miss a loop. It’s not very forgiving where you can hide a missed loop. You will have to go back and fix it by pulling out each loop until you get to the missed loop. So my advice, check your row frequently to make sure you are not missing a loop.

    this process is similar to tanisian crochet bind off starting with the non tail side and slip one loop through the other all the way over creates a loop blade look.

  • @jessicajohnstonbaker8778
    @jessicajohnstonbaker8778 Před měsícem

    so loops are simple sewen together at bottom of loop you can easily cut between and it takes back too fuzzy yarn and treat it like a tail

    I like loop yarn but make sure you are consistent with the straight loop. You can definitely see it if you have some twisted and some not, unless it’s part of a pattern. I learned the hard way. The size of the loops also make it difficult to do many patterns. I’m working on one now and the white and charcoal colors have different loops, even though they are both Alize blanket yarn.

    Thank you for the tutorial! I’m attempting a baby blanket for my first try ever 😂. How do I combine a different set of yarn? I know that’s probably really stupid, but I’ve never done this.

      It’s not a stupid question I’ve made a blanket with chunky yarn and so it was different… I came to the comment section, hoping to find someone that understood it’s just different since there’s already all the loops and it’s not like you can just burn the yarn together

    Just bought 4 100g skeins of yarn...not sure what I can make with it since there was only 4 available at hobby lobby. Is that enough for a small blanket?
