One of my favorites from the Dragon Quest series! It works surprisingly well with only two mandolins and guitar.

This sounds like what I would imagine would play when a sole party member travels in search for some comrades to offer good company. The rest of the instruments would probably chime in when they eventually join. However, the oomph (haha) of the guitar is enough to convey the unwavering courage of a lonesome member.

This DQ3 song plays during the "previously" recap of all episodes of the anime Dragon Quest The Adventures of Dai (the 90's version). First heard it there, discovered later DQ3 for the Nes. In love with this theme since then. Loved your version of it too, great job!
