Ive lost thousands of little bits as well,I swear more lol great video....I used to hold a small piece of wire in a tea light candle for a few seconds with a pair of pliers and burn the end into the plastic,it takes practice but its strong and creates a bubble join where the plastic melts ...oh and saliva is quicker to lube your tools :)
Tip for bending guitar strings: They're a lot easier to get the way you want them if you bend them before clipping off the bit you want. Just use a plier and bend, you'll have the rest of the string as "counter weight". This way you can get a lot more precision in your bending than if you cut out the small piece first and try to bend that.
Could you do more tutorials like this in regards to bionics and possibly tech heresy related stuff? I have a custom Chaos chapters who originate from a successor chapter of the Blood Angels, and my chapter has a rich back story, involving vampiric gifts from Chaos, mainly Khorne that makes their Red First something that lives within every marine. Anyway if you could possibly do a tutorial along those lines I'd be really grateful, after all this video did help me a lot with my Chaos lord.

I have a cousin who works at a guitar shop so I received some guitar strings some years ago. I guess being a pack rat has paid off because now I can use them :)

Ich halte mich zwar nicht für den schlechtesten Maler, nur leider ist das Tempo was ich dabei an den Tag lege frustrierend langsam...
guitar strings are evil little buggers! i play guitar and all i could think is "oh god please don't stab your self!" i can't tell you how many scars i have from them snapping and poking me but getting stabbed under the fingernail is the worst!
I like kit bashing but in this case why? Chaos parts were used anyway and it does not generate anything unique. Not challenging Alexandra's skills or anything because I have seen her work on a collaboration. But given the range of Chaos SM why this?

You can use vasalene for for tools and fingers when you work with green stuff. It's much better than water.

bass strings would be way thicker...maybe to big for a spacemarine sized model but they would work well on a stompa or other such big model
