Best band ever.. listened to them growing up. It's sad to see them get old. It's also sad that they didn't reach mass popularity like the bands that were inspired by them.. But true fans of Travis already know this!! Love from India

They didn’t reach mass popularity perhaps because they prioritized more import things, friendship, family, music, life.
popularity is a relative concept..most of the time you need to get mainstream and mediocre to be popular, Travis kept it excellent originality and so its original fans still stick with them. I used to be a Coldplay fan too, I'm not not anymore..for example.

Not really underrated. Travis were huge when they first stated out. The Man Who was a crossover international hit and they just fell out of favor as the 'new acoustic' movement - that spawned other similar bands like Turin Brakes, Keane, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, etc - started to die out. Some bands changed their sound and remained relevant, while many of them just faded away.
My heart is melting and I think I'm going to cry, it gets me back at the first time I heard this song. (:(
