- Among the tracks in TTPD, this is one of my favorites. The dress, the music-everything is perfect. Listening to it makes me feel like my eardrums might burst, but I still love it.

But it’s just people walking around on a stage. It’s like an act from a high school musical. I can’t believe she’s made a billion dollars from such an ordinary act. Good luck to her, but…
you do realize some of the most successful singers of all time didn’t dance or do anything at all but stand on the stage and sing right? look at mariah carey, whitney houston, & adele. let’s not forget most male singers. she doesn’t need to do anything crazy or “out of the ordinary” to be successful or keep us fans entertained. she writes great songs that people connect with, plays multiple instruments & sings. that is MORE than enough talent in itself for her to stay successful.
@@alluringally Yes, and you make a good point. But she’s made a billion dollars doing this. I just don’t see the attraction when her shows look amateur and dull. But I am not a child or a teen and I like my music more mature. Luckily we’re all different and her shows are very attractive to her target audience
@@FarmerJAB respectfully, saying her shows are amateur and dull is your opinion tho, not a fact. this tour will gross over 2 billion when it’s over. so most attendees will say otherwise. also, her music is made for everyone. i’m pretty sure you’re just unaware of her FULL audience, but it’s definitely not just kids & teens. her tickets for this tour were being sold for over $1000, what kid or teen has that kind of money to blow? lol probably cause most of the attendees were actually adults. some of her music has a sense of youth to it, but that doesn’t make it childish. taylor is classy & not overly explicit, so her music can be kid friendly. however, a lot of her lyrics mention adult relationship dynamics & sex, some even have swearing so if that’s childish to you, then you must’ve been a BAD ass kid lol. but she did become famous at 16 and started writing music even younger. so that would explain why some of her songs might come from a perspective of someone who is younger. but that doesn’t define her entire discography. you’re right tho, we can all have our own taste. but i would say being condescending or down playing someone’s talent just cause you aren’t into it is actually a lot more childish then anything taylor has ever put out.
@@alluringally . Please don’t tell me what I am unaware of - I am very aware of the Swift phenomena but it’s not my taste at all. And that’s fine. Everyone has their own taste, and everyone has their opinion. I see the joy she gives, but I don’t get the attraction. However, I do hope her fans continue to enjoy her for years to come.
