  • @YuvalNoahHarari warns that Russia's potential victory in Ukraine could signal the end of the global order by violating the fundamental rule against imperial conquest and potentially sparking a domino effect of territorial aggression akin to a third World War.

The Ukraine war remains the most important geopolitical conflict in the world, says bestselling author and historian Yuval Noah Harari.
In a wide-ranging conversation with Ian Bremmer filmed live at the 92nd Street Y in New York City, Harari says that if Russia wins in Ukraine, the global order as we’ve known it for decades is over. "The most fundamental rule was that you cannot just invade and conquer another country just because you're stronger. This is exactly what Putin is trying to do in Ukraine."
The conversation also touches on the potential ripple effects of Russia's actions, suggesting that a successful annexation could embolden other nations to follow suit, destabilizing global peace. Harari even entertains the notion that we might be in the early stages of a third World War, unrecognized in the current moment, much like the early years of World War II were not immediately identified as such. "If he gets away with it, we'll see more and more Putins all over the world” Harari says. "There is a scenario that we are already living in the midst of the third World War and we just don't know it."

Same happened during the Cuban crises just the other way round (after Russia got pressured by rockets placed in Turkey). The war would never have taken place if they would have respected to keep distance in the form of a neutral state. The war would have ended soon after it begun based and talks in Turkey but the West oped for war by claiming to support for whatever it takes.

For instance, Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights and NATO's division of Serbia highlight a double standard when it comes to changing borders by force. Hypocrisy and double standards pose a significant threat to modern democracy and the rule of law, undermining the very principles they claim to uphold.

Under IL if a nation initiates a war of aggression towards another sovereign nation and loses that war, the land lost can be legally annexed. The 1967 war between Israel and Jordan and Israel and Syria were acts of aggression started by these arab countries. Historians have documented these ME wars extremely accurately. There is zero occupation. Especially in Judea. Jordan occupied Judea between 1948-67 illegally and in 1967 Israel got back its own territory.

Douglas Macgregor and Scott Ritter would say that black is white and white is black if Putin/Russia want them to say it. Macgregor and Ritter are both paid by the Russian government.
If you don't believe what I have written, I would suggest that you do a little research. If you do some research, you will realize that what I have written is true.
Ask yourself a simple question. - Why don't Macgregor and Ritter publicly admit that they work for RT? The answer to this question is very obvious. If they admit that they are paid by RT/Russia, no educated or reasonably intelligent person will believe anything that they say. Both Ritter and Macgregor are popular in Russia because they say things that Russians want to believe. They are part of a propaganda effort by the Russian government.
The reason that Americans or people from other countries such as members of the European Union would believe things that are said by people like Macgregor and Ritter is because they are either naive, uninformed, uneducated or just plain stupid.

"We can't let Russia win, or nativists (citizens) everywhere will get the upper-hand against globalism and the elites, collaborators, etc. benefiting from it. That is, if Russia wins the real, non-immigrant, native-populations of all the countries of the earth will have a shot at reversing the last few hundred years of despotism, of callous rulers importing/exporting immigrants to aid & abet despotism at home and abroad, etc.
The people who are "world citizens", the people for whom the world is their pearl, the people who have no inherent need, desire, reverence, etc. for something clean, pure, undefiled, for something akin to filial-piety, to the preservation of multi-generational heritage/legacy, etc. These are the people who have gained from the last hundred-plus years. These are the people who need to worry about a Russian victory, which is nothing more but a barometer for the victories of the subjugated nativist peoples of the world.
P.S. This man is either genuinely aloof or malfeasant. Conservatism is conservatism even when it has no choice but to stand on its ground. Clearly, conservatism doesn't look like conservatism when you have allowed despotism to thrive for so long, when any action will look revolutionary by definition. The conservative is still conservative, the only problem is that his rulers, before Trump, were knowingly collaborating, aiding & abetting, the non-conservative forces, and as a result, when the turning point arrives, a choice has to be made, no matter if it looks conservative at all.

The main reason the military budgets fell down from around 50% to around 7%.
Is because in the past the state viewed their main role as security mechanisms in contrast to nowadays bloated budgets.
He also wrong about the role of those he calls "conservatives", their role is not to maintain the broken institutions who betray the nation, those institutions who corupt and try to destroy the nation culture, traditions and values.
For the people he calles "conservatives" the institutions are not the goal and are not a deity to be worshiped, they are a tool, and when this tool is totaly broken and damaging the public, it must be reformed or replaced.

Victor Hugo, a true historian, said of his contemporaries, and by extension, all, claiming to be historians, who came, thereafter, "If one does not understand (nor have knowledge of) the cavern that is in the mountain, then one does not understand (nor know) the mountain". This is demonstrably true of Harari, whom Hugo would never have regarded as a historian. However, Harari's insight into the relationship between the human biological organism and "AI" is quite impressive, much of which, comports with my own extensive work on the topic.
