With some simple edits, games can use the band to promote physical exercise and sociability. While It's true that to fight the stereotype, they are accepting the stereotype but they mean well.
Also, Imagine a fancy business scenario where one businessman street-passes another businessman. Normally, people don't carry their 3DSs with them but this makes it possible.
One other scenario I can think of is if you are just walking down the street and you see someone with a nabu on, now you know they are a gamer. This shows non gamers that, yes, this normal person is infact a gamer. deal with it.

Black- -Hawk What i think they will do is have sleeves rather than solid video cards, hard drives, cpus, etc. to start. I mean most of us have computers that are about as expensive as a new motorcycle! Getting rid of those to spend another 2k+ on a new PC? I don't think Razer would do that to their cult...

Owen Devine It's just the reference model. Things change a lot from design to production. If they built it like this almost none of their consumer base would buy it. Razer says they don't care about profits but they do care about their fans, so I am fairly certain this won't be their production design just from how their fans have reacted... Besides SHUT UP AND TAKE MY KIDNEYS!!!!!!

I hate when you get denied at school for example just because "Youre a gamer that never see the daylight" and then you proove that you actually do but then they dont believe you. Some people think gamers are "different" from other people. What if it them there is "different"? I dont get why "gaming" has gotten to the point af a bad word and some people even think that you get violent and crazy of playing video games..

Razer is the company us gamers need right now, most other game related corporations are always just trying to push their products on us and apart from that ignore us. Now look here at Razer, sure they are trying to get us to buy their products (I mean they gotta?), but being passionate gamers themselves here they are trying to remove something that we all hate. The stigma, the generalisation and the looks of judgement when you tell someone you enjoy video games. Razer aren't only trying to increase our abilities and enjoyment in gaming, they also trying to increase our image in society. Something which alot of gamers will tell is that they "don't care what people think", when actually... they do. Thank you Razer, from a big fan.

I don't like the nabu. And knowing Razer, you're gonna overprice the Christine Project so much, barely anyone will be able to afford it, it's a cool concept, but it'll cost far too much for common people.

Yeah, It would. But it is not intended for ultimately replacing a pc, but is intended for.. What should I call it.. Console-ilising pc gaming? Imagine you have this modular pc. Now there's a new Direct X out, based on the new chipsets (That you don't have) You then simply just go out and get a new module with that new architecture both cheaper & faster. I hope I clarified this somewhat.

phones and tablets are many times more powerful than the first gaming machines. In fact they're more powerful than two console generations ago. There is no reason why worthy gaming experiences can't be had on these products.
