I wish they would have left this scene in. One of my major complaints about Halloween 2018 is there weren't enough scenes that show Michael stalking & toying with his victims. That was a major part of building suspense in the original. Also, it would've been cool if this was near the old Myers house & instead of standing by the car, Michael is staring at Allyson through the window in homage to how he first spots Laurie in the original.
I agree. This was a good scene.
If they did show this scene it probably wouldn’t make sense tbh because Michael hasn’t even seen Laurie yet. plus he probably didn’t know what Karen or Allyson look like and the fact that Michael is watching Allyson I mean come on how much luck could he have had to find this one girl who happened to be Laurie granddaughter I’m just being logical here but besides that it definitely would have brought more to Michael stalking and toying that I can agree
@Mc Holocaust He is a villian, he is allowed to kill dogs.
Yeah still it’s been 40 years a lots changed he’s just getting familiar with it
@Mc Holocaust Ever watch the fucking movies dumbass? Michael never died. Stop expecting movies to cater to your personality mentality.
I get why they took it out. It implies he was already stalking the Strode family when the the rest of the movie shows he has no interest.
@Anthony Pesina that gives Michael a motive which takes away the original intent of the character being a mystery.
@@nike_swoosh9122 THANK YOU, finally someone that understood what is Myers. haha

@edgethawavestar2855 I mean it's true that Michael Myers eats dog liver. But why he couldn't eat that one?
Nice reference to the original
Very cool shot at the end of the video while Michael is standing on a driveway with a white outfit next to the stolen van, that poor dead dog hanging from a tree , was a message for everyone in Hadonfield that the evil returned to kill
It’s not cool
Dequan Rick guess it isn’t
Michael has only ever killed a dog when he needed to (for food or if it's barking and giving away his position). This would've been purely just for shock, plus why would he be stalking Allyson this early?
In no way does it imply that he's stalking Allison at all. This was meant to be a scene before Allison's breakfast just before walking to schooll. She just happened to come across it, because Haddonfield is implied to be a small ass town.
I would to
He wanted to try & figure out when she went out. That's what a stalker wants to find out and other things as well🎃🎃🎃
honestly? because "Blumhouse...." THey have to weird up and stupify everything they can for the sake of doing it.
This isn't true. He killed Sunday in Halloween 4 for absolutely no reason. It was off screen but we know no one was in the house at the time. He also killed Max in Halloween 5 after he already killed Rachel so he wasn't worried about Max giving away his position.
0:13 You see the shadow of the truck and camera man when she’s running.

100% should have stayed in the movie. It's one of the more creepy and atmospheric scenes and fits perfectly in line with what the real original Michael Myers would have done. A shame this isn't in the final cut.
Could have had it take place in between the gas station murder scene and the one shot take. Could have made it early evening, had kids out trick or treating, and have Michael already in his mask and coveralls.
Allyson was prepared to outrun michael shes goes jogging/running so she was always prepared. Laurie was prepared a long time to kill the boogeyman. Karen well shes just karen lol

They deleted this scene for real reason people always whining and angry when dogs dies on horror movies. Come on, It’s just a movie 🙄
It wasn't that, They deleted because the movie wouldn't make sense cause Laurie and Michael are not related in this movie so it will make no sense for him to stalk Allison
Damn, I'm glad this got cut
A very good scene... Why it was deleted?
Indeed, much like the other deleted scenes, it was cool, but added little to the movie and might have disrupted the pacing.
Pacing is usually the answer. The director just wants to move the film along.
@spikedpsycho michael has done shit like this but most of the time, I feel like hes trollin. IN halloween6 he hung the radio host in a tree with Christmas lights or where he'll do something fucked up and just sit in the background and watch
WHD Studios I hate to be late to add to this, but you're very right. I had just started watching the Halloween series last year when the new movie was just coming out. I had a whole week of of school that week, and to my luck, my dad recorded most of the Halloween movies, so I'd binged that the whole week. My dad decided since I'd watched all but one of the movies (Halloween Resurrection), he'd take me to see the new one. (Surprisingly, the security let me through. My ticket even said kid on it, and I was only twelve) It really was cool. I wasn't scared because epic gamers don't get scared 😎

Would have been better if there wasn’t a closeup but instead the previous shot was slightly better to more effectively make out that he’s standing there
Wish they kept this scene in. I understand it wasn’t very relevant to the plot, but it would’ve been a great way of including a dog death in modern movies, as people look past innocent human being’s deaths but are so sensitive about animal deaths. I’m not condoning animal death but people obviously need to realize that all living beings’ deaths, no matter in what form, should be treated equally the same way.
I got an ad for the "dogs lovers show" 💀
They always remove good scenes honestly should have different screenings with scenes and let a private audience choose which is the best version for the public

you can't have a dog death in movies because people soyjak over it (not that I like animal deaths in movies but people being like "you can kill people because HUMANS ARE DA NAZIS but animals are perfect heckin pupper chungus angels noooooo!" is very annoying)

Michael has killed dogs before...killed a couple in H1, H4, H5, and has pictures in Rob Zombie's Halloween. But I just don't see the point of this. Unless he was stalking Laurie and did this to her dog on purpose I could see, but we know they aren't related anymore and he just hangs up a random dog... meh. Glad they cut it, trims the fat off an already decent Halloween movie.
Thats kind of his thing, random targets.

Allyson’s legs look hot
I always hate when they kill animals in Horror movies. Not when they sacrifice!
But when they just kill them randomly.
Personally It has never bothered me. I see it the same as the human deaths, a casualty is a casualty no matter the species. As long as it's a special affect, not a real slaying.
Now, when it's real animal cruelty in movies is when it's not necessary at all and they shouldn't be doing it. That being said it doesn't shock or upset me when I see it in films, there's plenty of films I love with animal cruelty in them, I don't agree with it but I'm just desensitised like that.. But I in no way am condoning the act! It shouldn't happen! Not for a movie, not for anything..
Also, nice Megalon you got there 👀 always loved Godzilla Vs Megalon.

i would love to see Jason Voorhees battle or fight Michael Myers to protect or avenge the Dog, because i was reading trivia from one of the Friday the 13th movies, Jason takes Manhattan, this scene was planned for the movie, but Kane Hodder refused, Jason was going to kill the main characters Dog, Kane said "Jason may kill people, but he's not evil or dark enough to hurt a Dog"
Man's best freind? Apparently not.
This should of been in the movie.
I hate when movies kill dogs in the stories. I only found it acceptable when it was done in John Wick because it built up the entire story.
Who owned the dog?
Cool delete scene.
To me I feel like it’s a Misfits reference to the song Halloween besides a dog the regional lyrics is dead cats hanging on the wall I remember Halloween
Yeah, this was way too close to the opening of one of the Saw movies. Like it is exactly the same except it's a dog and not a dead person. Glad they cut it.
Thought this scene should have been in the movie. They claim they said it doesnt help the story but Im sure many short scenes didnt help the story but its there. I believe the scene may have struck a nerve or been talked about during production and they felt it may cause an "issue" with activists etc. In my opinion. this scene DOES help the story cause it shows the severity and evil and equal killing of michael myers. And done in a way not typical of Michael. It also would have struck a nerve to audience who would feel emotional or pissed at Michael for hurting animals and THAT DOES help the story and get you emotionally invested in the film and be angry and horrified by him. Screw the sensitive activists and protesting liberals that would make a fuss. Its just a movie. Real sickos out there hurt and kill animals. This is just a story. And art imitates life.
On a separate observation, I also found it strange they hung the dog by the hind legs instead of the neck. I think it would have looked more affectively barbaric and struck more of a nerve if it was by its neck. Wonder if thats why they hung it by its hind, to lesson the emotional impact? Just an observation
The dog was just hanging around
I agree that this doesn't work. 1. He wouldn't know who Allyson is so why would he be stalking her before even getting his get up. 2. He only killed dogs in the original to stop it from barking/to eat. Seems like he doesn't care about them unless they're in his way. Also to the people saying he killed dogs in the sequels, remember that those never happened.
He didn't know who Laurie was in1978, so whyd he stalk her...
Laurie came to his house bro. This scene is implying that he's stalking Allyson because he knows she's related to Laurie. There's no way he'd know that at that point. He hasn't even gone to the station yet to kill the Podcasters.
@@SlushMowerThe3rd true, yea I feel you. I've seen Halloween Kills 3 times and I'm still confused on this Dennis kid? Michael was holding a skeleton mask when Lindsay saw him - the others kid says " is that Dennis mask " my question is, do they show Dennis in Halloween 2018 or Halloween Kills and when?
@@RyLifeWeekly dennis was the kid who entered the myers house to steal the candy when the kids were pulling that trick on big & little John.
He wasn't stalking Allyson, she just happened to be there. Theres no way he could have known Allyson took that route on her daily morning jog, killed the dog, then set it up for her to see, because he had just broken out the night beforehand. Chances are he was just doing it to ramp up the overall anxiety in Haddonfield.
Also, just because he didn't do it in the original, doesn't mean he can't do it here. The Shape never killed a kid in the original, but he does it in 2018 just the same as he would anybody else.
I think the scene could work. Throughout 2018 (and now Kills), Michael is spreading pain and fear throughout the town. The dog probably had owners that loved it, now they're trying to figure out who could do such a thing while dealing with the loss of their pet. If The Shape is the pure essence of evil, the boogeyman, then I think it falls in line with his character.
I don't remember making this scene
