- In this video, we rebuild a carbon steel pipeline, and replace is with a 316L stainless steel pipeline to hopefully stand the test of time. It is a little more of a lengthy video, but it was kind of a lengthy project between building in the shop and then finishing up the fab work in the field. We use Tig welding to rebuild this pipeline, along with some minor machining work, and use of various shop tools. Hope you guys enjoy! Thanks for watching!

Excellent work man, thanks for sharing another episode.
You’re welcome, I’m hopeful that there’s some people out there that would enjoy our video. Thanks for watching!
Should pick up some of those Hart nylon bristle wheels from walmart. They're cheap and shine up stainless caps really nice.
As a drone owner, I'm biased, but I love the addition of drone footage to the intro.
Thanks. I think it’s pretty sweet as well. I have a friend who offered to come shoot some video. I would like to get one of my own though. I think it adds a pretty cool dynamic to the cinematography.
How about some info on your jib crane? Great content, keep it coming.
Mike, thank you for the positive feedback. I will definitely share some more info on the jib cranes. I think there is a shop tour video coming up in the near future.
Is it necessary to passivate stainless pipe when it’s welded
No, it is not necessary. The reason that I hit it with a wire brush is just because I like to clean the color off to make it look more uniform. I personally like the look of it when it’s all polished up and uniform. Thanks for watching!
