Honestly, he's such an inspiration and I can never have enough of him. Watching someone so passionate about music always motivates me to do more, learn more and practise more :) Also, his hair is just marvellous, tough I wish he kept it longer :((

Gustavo's 4th movement of Dvorak's New World Symphony is the most dynamic version I've seen and heard! The tension that leads to the final statement is unparalleled!
I am enough old, and since I discovered Gustavo Dudamel I think I know what I will be in my next life - a conductor - sure!

Never before that I didn't think about what colossal hard work stays behind every piece to be performed by orchestra.
His expressions makes me feel the music with my eyes.

Dudamel has an amazing sense of humour, incredibly passionate in conducting. His passion always motivates me to practice more and more 👏
He is the best!! Such passion when he conducts. He brings out the best in the orchestra. He is the music.
You and I would get along quite nicely, I think. Dudamel is my favorite conductor and Dvorâk 9 is my favorite symphony.
Maybe I shouldn't be so vulnerable in a CZcams comment, but I think there's a reason I've been drawn to Dudamel videos in the past week. There's something about him. Not just charisma or charm (or great hair), but something I've been missing.
I've had a really rough 6 months, and my mental state has been abysmal. More often than not, I've started to lose hope that there is anything in life that isn't horrible or painful. The human experience has started to seem like a nuisance at best, and pointless torture at worst. I often wish there was a simple way out, one that wouldn't hurt anyone.
But when I watch Gustavo conduct, I immediately feel uplifted. Even after I'm done watching, I'm left with a deeper sense of inspiration from the joy he always exudes when in front of an orchestra - and even in interviews, he seems full of hope and excitement for life, wanting to do everything he can to make life better and more beautiful for others. He's 42 now, but even after all these years, conducting still seems to provide him a sense of childlike glee. I haven't felt that passionate about anything in a long time. I used to love music so much - playing piano, singing in choir, playing viola in orchestra, and composing music. Music always made me feel better. Now I'm in too much of a dark place to do any of that.
But I feel like... if the moment I'm watching on screen can exist as part of the human experience, maybe there is some good in life. I mean, obviously, I can't experience exactly what he's experiencing. I'm not a world-renowned conductor, nor am I a prodigy at anything or skilled at much. But if there's joy of a feeling of purpose there, it stands to reason that I can find some of that too. If anyone has read this far, maybe this resonates with you too? I don't know exactly what to do to improve my mental health, but I want to at least try.
A todos nos pasa, sentirnos cansados de vivir, de intentar, de seguir para qué? Si parece que nadie lo nota, que a nadie le importa, como una carrera hacia la meta sin detenerse a mirar a los demás. Pero creo que debemos sacar fuerzas y apreciar cada momento, y dejar nuestra huella, que estamos aquí por algo, y que en unos años nuestra ausencia se notará. @@claudiagarciaromero7815 Thank you for your kind reply. It means a lot. I'm doing a bit better these days - at the very least, I'm not in the dark place I was when I wrote that comment. I haven't figured everything out yet, and I still don't know exactly how I'll be able to create moments of meaningfulness and joy for myself and others. But I'm trying to give life another chance. I'm going to start school for an automotive occupational degree in the spring so I can get a job that doesn't pay minimum wage. I've sat down a few times to compose music, even just a little bit. I've been able to get counseling, and I've been hanging out with friends and family a little more. I'm considering what is important to me and what needs to change before I feel like I'm not just completely lost. Thank you for your kindness, and I hope you are doing well yourself.
@@Jupiter-T Keep fighting and don’t give up no matter how hard it is. I know how it feels to be down, 10 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and 3 years after I was diagnosed with colon cancer, In both cases I obviously had to undergo serious surgeries but here I’m enjoying life. Never give up and fight as hard as you can, it’s worth trying! By the way I’m 75 years old and ready to keep fighting!

Life seems to be a fight for some of us (if not most of us), and I truly respect anyone who finds it in themselves to keep fighting for what means a lot to them. I'm not nearly the age you are, but my relatively few years have been a struggle since I can remember, and after a while it just exhausts all the inner resources I have. I try to spend time actually thinking about what will bring meaning to my life, because I know meaning won't fall into my lap if I just fill every free second with media and block out the world.
@@Jupiter-T You have been facing serious health problems for a very long time and that’s is very hard to endure but you’re still fighting and in my opinion it means that you’re stronger than you think. When I was down I focused in things that I like, such as music and books, and it really helped! I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart. Greetings from Barcelona!

Thank you for posting this you know what would’ve been wonderful? If you could list the name of the piece on each video. Because that way I could look up each piece. I did see that you listed them in the description so that is awesome. But some of them as I was listening to them I don’t know the name of this piece. But thank you so much for compiling this video. He is an amazing man and one thing that is amazing about him is that he is so Humble. I like his hair longer to I love dimples. She is so engaging! He seems like a great teacher. I hope he comes to Philadelphia soon and I can see him in person. Thank you again for posting keep on making videos like this I really liked it.
I wondered if anyone else noticed his dimples. I probably shouldn't use the word adorable about a 42-year-old man's smile, but I guess the dimples make his smiles look extremely genuine and wholesome. Based on videos he seems like a super positive and inspiring person to be around
