@DanArnets1492 if you go to one of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra concerts at any time of the year, they will play the Blue Danube and Radetzky March as part of their encore - clapping included!
Definitely worth going; the only hard decision you'll have is whether to see it in the wonderful Golden Hall in the Musikverein, or the incredible Staatsoper.

Así es en los tiempos alegro, andantino .
If anyone ever says the conductor is useless show them this video. He was able to, on the fly, non-verbally instruct the audience on how hard and when to clap and fit it in with the orchestra which he's also instructing.
Well it also showed how when he turned to the crowd, the musicians of the orchestra kept playing without missing a single note without him giving any further advice

Dudamel is the only conductor so far who had clapping during the interlude.
Actually, that had started with Mehta two years before, and then now late Jansons followed that. Dudamel became the last to do this, as once Muti chose not to do that in 2018, the conductors since then also chose not to.

Conducting the audience!!!! For me one of the best conductors ever! So proud of being a Latina and having such a representation! You can see the passion in his eyes and movements! One of my biggest dreams as a violinist is being conducted by him someday: a true genius and a very nice person.

I'm in crisis because I I heard Redetzky when enjoyed opera by a great kid Kohnatan Adua & at the end there was but rendition by some orchestra genus THAT redesigned Redetzky so sweet 👍
