Never clicked so fast on a video
The quest didn't let me give her the murder report. Only the bribery proof. Now she's gone and I'm without my romance! And the game autosaves soon as you're told she was taken away! ...Just realized I screwed up and could have chosen the right evidence. Dang. Screwed myself.
Same thing happened to me. Only the bribery evidence appeared when I spoke to her and after I realized it auto saved after she was arrested, I found the murder report in my inventory.

Finished the romance scene but wanted to talk to her again but she seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth

Also I didn't get the letter at my house
so like some of you, i didnt get the romance scene. the first day after resting, the dude outside the door told me that business was closed for the day, i could still enter the room but she was not there. rested again to the next morning, then dude out front told me she got taken away. LITERALLY the only thing i did different from this video, was when giving the evidence to her, i put it in the left slot (its put in the right slot in this video), no idea if that is the reason but then again, its the only discrepancy from what i did as i followed this video to a tee otherwise. If anyone chose the "i beg for your assistance" from officer brant, how does that affect the outcome? its the only other choice i see that could alter the outcome of the quest.
I had the same problem
I didn’t interact with Brant at all during the Wilhelmina quest, only gave the murder evidence to her, and she didn’t go to jail. I think Brant is a snitch lol

i've completed a nation of lambent flame and can't gift her anything. Tried sleeping a day and at night but still never get the option. Sven quest is done as well.
Edit: Do the phantom oxcart quest to be able to get the opton.
I still cant get the option i think if you progress to nation of lambent flame you cant get the romance, did sven’s and the orchant in quest too

I got this quest to trigger without having made it that far in the main story. It was available to me after her cutscene at the end of the Masquerade quest. It's possible I had given her 1 bundle of flowers, but I don't remember.
Alright, but what happens if you decide not to follow through Wilhelmina plan to murder Allard and expose him properly like Brant wants you to? Is that an option? I want to know how this goes down, but no guides cover this route lol

I never spoke to the general but i still got the letter from her and i still got the romace scene and she said the same thing that allurds death was called accident the only thing is i cant find her after i completed her romance but everything else i got the same outcome as lunargaming

I never got the last scene, I rested until morning at the house and she wasn't there when I got there so I waited until night and then some guy told me she was taken. So stupid that there's not save slots if it's going to be this buggy, am i screwed out of her romance?
Happened to me too, but I just killed the guy outright with only the evidence from his room. A little frustrated you can't break her out of jail after the bad end of the quest, or go back to a prior save.
I just did the quest line and missed out as I chose to see her at night to be told she was arrested. Fucking lame. I can't even load an older file...
The only dialogue I get from her after giving her flowers and waiting:
“tis no simple matter for a woman to make it this far on her lonesome. Yet after all this time, here I am”.
The dialogue then closes and I can no longer gift her anything, nothing happens.
I’m so tired of this game and the shit you have to go through just to make quests WORK. It’s ridiculous, and it’s at every corner. Such a simple thing made so difficult for no reason smh.
8:08 be sure to give her both. It seems this quest can be rather wonky where sometimes you get the desired result with one evidence. But it should be with both. Though they make it kind of awkward to give her the 2nd one.
Exactly the same thing happened to me, and then I never saw her again, not even in the end credits scenes ._.

I liked this quest- but it's way undercooked (not even comparing Ulrika's quests).
It shouldn't be a sudden revelation to us about Wilhelmina's origin. At least it should be alluded to (correct me if I'm wrong, cause I did skip boring dialogue). The implications of her mixed race is a treasure trove of storytelling- or at least letting us get to know her better (getting closer) over multiple quests.
But they just completely dropped the ball on this and then she just disappears.
She had the potential to be one of the most interesting characters in this game, but she became a walking cliche of "femme fatale seeking revenge through sex work"
I did this quest without finding the barber evidence and talking with Brant. I still gotten the romance cutscene, but after that i can't find Wilhelmina. Did something bad happen?

But she's gone after the last quest, she goes into hiding so it wouldn't be possible to talk to her before the final quest.
didn't realise it was a timed quest and missed out on it progressing the story wish it would highlight some of these quests before progressing forward.
She straight up tells you that she’ll give you 3 days
@@doctorlove6951 I meant after crossing the border and doing the quest he says in the video. A lot of misinformation was thrown around at the time saying that if you didn’t go to her before going to bakbattahl, you just missed out on the quest and aren’t able to go get it. In reality the affinity you had with her just went away and you just needed to give her flowers.
@@doctorlove6951 scratch that realized this isn’t the video that I’m thinking of, but there were videos saying that once you crossed the border and didn’t go to her immediately at the halfway point, you just missed out on her quest. it was during the Hugo quest that a lot of information I got off of those videos at the time that said I messed up and missed out on the quest.

So i stayed in inn until night, i return to her place onky to be told she was arrested for murder and taken by the royal guard... Ffs i cant even load an older game file as it takes me back to getting the reward and being to late to see her!

@@urizenjr2409 I stopped playing. I saw on Reddit that you can't give a gift during and between quests if they are related to it. So we can try right after the ox cart quest.

So i only got the proof of murder and that was enough for the romance didn't have to do any of the other stuff
I rememeber just starting going through the city in the noble area and running into this NPC and I talk to him he was always talking about "if we keep mixing there will be nothing but bestmen here" I was like that racist and that will probably bite you in the end.....good to see it does lol

@@The_Panda62 Try to come visit her another night, after you get some sleep. This is how i got it to work. Usually letting some time pass makes things easy. Before you enter her main room, you should be stopped by a guy guarding the small door, telling you she’s busy with a client. then you should be able to enter the main room and peep through the painting hole to trigger the quest. It also helps if you’ve done the Sven quest for Captain Brant, he has dirt on the guy Wilhelmina wants to k*ll!

This happened to me as well. In the guide he was able to give Wilhelmina the murder report after talking to Brant, but for me Brant only left me with the bribery report which seems to not be sufficient. No idea why he got the murder one and I got the bribery one, maybe it's related to your affinity with Brant or something?
i fucked it and ran outta time. god the time limit shit is really dumb

@@oyasumichansu Did the dragon take ulrika? Or someone else you had high affinity with? If so, that person will replace Wilhelmina with the dragon automatically.
Those "romances" are incredibly disappointing. I wasn't expecting Baldura Gate 3 level but this is not even Dragon Age or Mass Effect level. Even Owlcat does it better with basically text only.

Are most/all romances in this 'game' like that? A quest or two(or more), get a lame romance scene, and then...thats it? Nothing more with that romance for the rest of the game? At all? Something with the chosen romantic interest at the end of the game at least? I'm legit curious(hence why I ask lol). Doesnt seem worth the trouble for a scene with Wilhelmina for example to just sit *not* naked behind you in bed, talk for a bit... the end. That feels very..underwhelming. Unless there were things cut out from this video, or preferably, there's MORE with her (or whoever) later. Again, simply asking. And no I dont care about spoilers if the case happens to be the answer to my question is "oh this and this happens with the romantic choice at the end of the game" etc. Spoil away. Though anyone who doesnt want things spoiled should probably avoide reading any replies to this message - IF anyone is kind enough to enlighten me in this very important question ;)
