    i flush my radiator and finally done most of the service on my bike... dont know what i did wrong? I follow youtube video and flush the radiator and i took my bike out for a try today and its over heating and fan went crazy. and the coolant at my tank reservoir was expanding and the liquid was boiling inside? Is it normal after flushing the radiator ? or have i top up too much coolant therefore its causing this ?
    do i need to bleed it before i ride? the temperature went up to 110oC... please help ASAP

    Are you only running engine ice or a mixture of engine ice/water? Also how do you know how much coolant to put into the radiator once the reservoir is full?

      Texas Moto straight engine ice is just fine. I found out you do NOT need a 50 50 blend.

      After you pour the new coolant in, you must run it with the cap off and tilt the bike left and right to bleed out the air in your system. He did fail to mention that, and that is more than likely your problem man.

    Did you bleed the system?

    • @GixxersShadow
      @GixxersShadow  Před 9 lety +1

      If you talking about bleeding afterwards of appling the new coolant then yes. For me a few blips of the throttle is good enough with the radiator cap off. Tho some bikes are different. Consult the service manual for you bike to find if there are any bleed screws in the system to aid in air bleeding.
