Thank you so much for explaining the event! I keep seeing build video’s about the event but, nobody really gave a comprehensive explanation for what the event is about and why it’s so, good. Just here’s my build and now go play it. I got into the Division 2 a couple months ago and haven’t experienced this even yet. Thanks again and everyone take care!

Great video. As always. But if I can make a suggestion. After you finished the public execution,the guy drops a bounty. You Can pick it up,then go into the bounty menu. And deactivate it. It will remain in there till you need it. Very usefull.

One of the better events. SHD exposure was fine as long as you know how to counter it.
Golden bullet is simple. It's like having the Bullet Storm talent without the Bullet King.
Used this farming method when they launched this season, finished it over 3 days. Had 2 PEs right next to the 1040 safe house. Went to challenging with max directives. Rinse and repeat in less than 5 minutes. He knows what he’s talking about

We run a pattern. There are several public executions and/or propaganda broadcasts in that area. You can fast travel to DZ West entrance or the Attic safe house. There are 2 classified assignments to travel to as well. Then there are sometimes 2 to 4 public executions near the Tidal Basin mission. Also right by District Union Arena there are usually 2 public executions and sometimes a territory control very close together. We bounce from area to area. We play on challenging with 3 directives on. We level up every 3 activities. The GB event makes it crazy fun.

I had a strange glitch this morning. I'm wondering if it's because of the update. I had about 80 items marked as junk when I logged off yesterday. This morning, I went to donate them to the proficiency thing. I got nothing. No big deal. I figured I was already proficient in everything I marked. So I dismantled everything like I always do. "No materials recovered". That's crazy because some of the marked junk was exotic so I should have got at least a few exotic components. I checked my inventory and all the junk is gone. I just didn't get anything for it. I did a few activities and everything is working as usual. I just lost that 80+ pieces of loot. Odd. I hope it was an isolated incident and no one else has the problem. I know it was dismantled because I know for sure that it showed 37 weapons before I held "Dismantle all junk" and after, it shows I have the regular 6 weapons I always carry.
My heart goes out to that, lost exotics😢
it could be that none of the items or brands you donated towards, gained a proficiency level. it is very unlikely because with 80 pieces there's gotta be at least some brands or items that you're donating towards multiple times (and gained a level). but in the very unfortunate event that ALL items you donated were at the start of their levels, it is possible that you didn't see any numbers increase (but that would be good news because it still counted under the hood, even though you didnt see it)
@@Setanta9089 I understand that but I actually dismantled dozens of pieces with no materials gained. I was looking at the weapons when I hit dismantle. I dismantled at least 31 items. Pretty sure I dismantled the whole 80+. I'm proficient with all gear sets and brand sets. So there's only two stages in every donation. Plus, every piece of gear I have marked as junk is actual junk because, like I said, I'm proficient with all of it. I got ripped off for the materials for sure.
@@Setanta9089 Oh, I forgot, about a dozen pieces of the junk were mods. That just dawned on me. That means I lost the materials for sure. Not counting anything else, I should have got 60-80 printer filaments.

This weekend is going to be insane. I plan on resetting the world, and just putting up some points. Nothing a bunch of pizza, chips and some soda would help out on meeting that goal of getting it done! Its funny, but yeah, I forgot the enemies could get a golden bullet and start wrecking the house as well. As always, great content, and thank you for the time you put in to these Grey Beard. Just gotta make it through this rough week, and I am "golden". (For insane bullet spray, so far the tact vector, on a Umbra seems to edge out strikers fire rate increase. )

My first time doing golden bullet a d did a duo for the daily project...ya it sucked because he would get the golden bullet and kill everything including other marked golden bullet npcs while mine wasnt up.
I at least had the consideration to not kill npcs with the golden bullet when mine was active and his wasnt.

I always enjoy a pestilence build but with golden bullet it feels like I turned on a cheat code or something. You can get so many max pesti stacks bouncing around it's nuts & the xp rolls in.

Is anyone else really struggling to play this event, it’s just been so annoying to have no new content in this game for a month and a half. They really need to pad seasons out better in the future if they keep the 4 months
yeah i was done with the season practically 3 weeks after release, once i completed the seasons track. luckily we had the escalation apparel halfway through. but after that, i've been in an absolute rut for 2 months while waiting for the new season. i feel like i have to play this event or miss out on stuff, but then again why bother with logging in if i can get the rewards through other means at a later time. there's no missable content in the golden bullet so why play

@@dakidd6112 it was stressful but once it dropped I was excited. I'm still new to the game and had to restart on pc. I was using a friend's last gen xbox. We didn't know it wasn't cross play until it was to late😅

Slightly off topic but I have a question for you Sarge.
What is your opinion on Directive Swapping while farming EXP? I haven't seen you make a video or talk about it so either you don't know about it, or you do and it falls into one of those things that could potentially get you banned.
If you didn't know, you could set your game to have no Directives active, do something like a Territory Control, and before you open the chest to complete the encounter, turn on all Directives and open the box. You get all the EXP as if you did it with all Directives active, without having them active and then your world resets. If you are quick enough, you can deactivate the Directives before the 10 second delay is up that that way when you get sent to a safehouse, you are ready to run/fast travel to the same one.
I do this on Heroic during Apparel Events and it's massive EXP but I'm wondering what your thoughts on it are and if I should continue.

New player here... Farming those CPs in challenging difficulty with all 5 directives over and over again.... It's efficient as I need loot +§xp.. But it's still a grind man 😥 and the quality of targeted loot is so bad 99.9 percent of the time... How do I get a God roll or near God roll? ??
Lots of farming
Just keep on grinding... I generally get 50 SHD levels minimum when I am online and I don't get much in what I need for my builds but I get tonnes of maxed out gear and weapons that I know would benefit others. Also look out for territories. executions and propaganda activities... they have been very good to me in dropping a lot of named and quite often, exotic pieces.
And of course the event starts when I'm away from my pc visiting my parents out of the country 😂

You get a resource point for every shd level after 1000. 1000 is the max for the watch
