I always loved this song, i also consider the bus door sounds as having their own special sound. They share the same sound with the Autopsy doors. And i think that’s the only time we here this door opening sound.

The remake of this game is cool and all but the original ps1 version will always be the best version. Its so eerie and unsettling, on top of that it still knkws how to creep you out to this day. I still feel that to this day when i pop the Disk in. The remake looks good bjt its missing the heart and soul of the original. The soundtrack is just one of many pieces that made this game timeless and creepy.
Nothing beats holding that original controller in your hands, brings that old horror back, but nowadays I actually prefer the og PC version with enhanced backgrounds and the ability to skip doors. Makes it so much more seamless imo
@vhsretrogamer1664 I understand, it looks more clean and works smoother. Personally, I prefer the original due to nostalgia and just the feel of it. Something about playing on the PS1 just feels right to me.
well the original game was longer and just felt like it had more to it, maybe the back and forth looking for keys and items adds to that, but still overall it was very fun.
@@theshredguitarist25 One aspect I feel lacking in the modern remakes are the soundtracks and ambience (especially RE2). They just feel a bit underwhelming and unimpactful.
@@ryank6322 tbh they really did suck all of the atmosphere and personality from the game. Instead, now we walk around with a flashlight and fight our way through jump scares. Most of which are absolutely annoying.

This soundtrack I think was first designed for the RE 1.5´s Raccoon City, were the city looked like more futuristic.
I always wondered why this music hasn't had its own appreciation... never nobody talked about it...

the bus was such a short scene though, but the music was awesome

The remake was more of a challenging action game with a little bit of horror, rather than a creepy game with an eerie atmosphere.
