As a volleyball player it is very hard to hear people say "Volleyball isn't that hard" or "It's easy" but this video proves what most players really go through while commiting to the game.

Collisions on court are so dangerous, most of the time when I'm involved in one, I shake it off, but immediately make sure the other person is okay, because although I shake it off, I'm overall very clumsy, and things like that happen to me all the time, so I've built up a tolerance, but it may not occur to the other person as much as it does me, so they could be in a lot more pain. Once again, volleyball is so dangerous

People often undermine volleyball injuries since players don’t physically clash with their opponents but injuries can get just as serious as any other sport. Collisions between teammates, block and hit landings are dangerous, obstacles in your way while you’re chasing, and so many other things that could lead to injuries.
A girl on my club’s 18s team literally shatter her right shin during the first tournament of our season while she was chasing after a ball. Idk what the officials were thinking when they decided to put up net poles with larger bases without any padding, but she ran right into said pole base and the whole shin injury happened.
I’ve chased after many shanked balls as well with the worst case scenario I’ve ever been in being falling head first over a row of chairs. Fortunately for me, one of my teammate’s dad caught me before I collided with the ground. I know for a fact that I definitely couldn’t have fully stopped my fall, which would have either led to a head injury or an arm injury (while trying to catch myself). Another serious injury I had was tripping over my teammate during practice and came crashing down onto the ground with no time to cushion my fall. Fell straight on my rib cage and badly bruised it (black and blue across my entire right side) and had trouble breathing for a while.
At my last large scale tournament, I saw a girl break her thumb and another get carried out of the building on a stretcher. Have no clue what happened to the second girl but it was probably pretty serious if the paramedics had to come in 😬
oomg it's terrifying to see how volleyball players get hurt, it's something horrible regardless of the fact that an injury in indoor volleyball falls are serious, not like the one on the beach🙁

I mean everyone saying volleyball is easy but it’s really not, yes a lot of people play it but are they good at it is the real question.. When they play it’s all fun and games but when u play for real on a real team you have pressure, you have to tape your knees, and so much more. As a volleyball player myself yes it is fun but it’s definitely not easy

I joined a volley ball club this year in my school and this video make me scare to play volley ball.

Some of this only gets you really hurt if you already had an injury.

all I saw was a couple of bumps and no blood............ everyones whining, just get back up and play.
Bro one of the girls littarly knocked her teeth into another girls teeth, and most of them coolided with their head. Some of them got back up to play again too. Just because their is no blood doesnt mean it doesnt hurt. I play volleyball and ive gotten hurt and collided with my teammates and its not easy getting back up to play especially if you got hurt in your leg or neck/head area.
