Being a doctor myself, I interact with people on public transport who don't know me, without giving any hint about my profession and the sheer amount of misinformation and disinformation regarding medicine and our health that is out there is truly terrifying. Evidence based practice is the need of the hour along with educating patients about how we treat a condition.

Hi doc, I'm desperately seeking for some advice and hoping you could have some. What to do with gallbladder polyps measuring 5×5 mm, 5×4 mm. Gastroenterologist suggested prompt removal of gallbladder with no other option. Is there any other way out?

Since one month I started following you on Twitter and information shared by you is really eye opener. In your profile description It's written that you see AYURVEDA differently and in the background of this video I found some AYURVED book kept there namely SUSRUTA SAM. AND PANCHKARMA.
May you please make a video in order to explain how you see ayurved differently, either it's totally wrong or there is some good part in this.
From what I have seen, he has studied actual ayurveda to expose the modern ayurveda industry which tries to sell random untested drugs to people.

Do you think that if the real doctor had been less rude and willing to explain what is going on and why he is recommending his medicines, we can prevent a lot of such cases?
Obviously he shouldn't be like the Ayurveda and homeopathic doctor who are friendly just to rope in patients but if he had been more assuring to the patient and explained why his ultrasound results were not good instead of outright dismissing him that would be better in my opinion. Do you agree?

Patient communication is becoming even more important plus if you explain to the patients the degree of expectations they must set especially in chronic diseases like fatty liver helps a lot towards improving doubts and second guessings.
Had the Patient being explained that recovery would take place gradually and he/she should be consistent in diet control would have saved the Patient from prematurely declaring failure from evidence based medicine
True, I agree with you. It's just that doctors get really burnt out in India and can't handle all this. They have to deal with all the patients and their families who come to them, plus all the mishandled cases that come from Ayush doctors lol

Lifestyle change is more important than keto.You cannot continue keto for the rest of your life.In my opinion eating lots of fiber,lean meat like chicken breast egg whites and healthy fats like nuts with moderate starch intake along with brisk walking 30 minutes everyday can slowly over years can improve your health and might even reverse your fatty liver.Get your blood work checked after every 4 to months 😊

[During covid i think all doctors following allopathy just rested in their houses and others did the work right!!! No one lost their lives and doctors enjoyed in their houses.]This is people's opinion about doctors. They doesn't know how hard we work to complete mbbs and pg. 48hrs continuous duty without sleep, continuous monitoring of icu patients. No proper breakfast, lunch and dinner timings. You can't blame everyone for others mistakes. There are dedicated doctors also. Just shut down hospitals for maybe 1hr or just 10 min you will understand doctors importance in society.
