About this game:

I originally wrote "Dave" until I remembered that's the name of the tutorial guy in the game. That's how scarily accurate this game is to working in broadcasting lol

Beth B pff depends which studio. Local station here has one director who drags in all the inputs to rundown so he only presses one button. He’s the only on in the control room other than the producer. Some studios I’ve seen tho still have the jobs split. Especially with sports
Our station has 5 in studio (if you count producer) we’re a smallish local station, it’s divided up by graphics, audio, director, teleprompter and producer (and a camera guy). They seem to automate graphics and cameras in this though. The advertising is the outsourced thing :P

Unlikely that you'd ever happen to read this specific comment NL but I subbed to you after hunting down a link to your channel in a poison mushrooms video that was at the time housed on the machinima channel. I've watched streams of the NLSS ever since and this return to that genre of "Kinda bad but fun to watch someone play" videos is such an awesome blast from the past.

i work for an abc affiliate in a fairly large market city, and this is actually a decent game representation of what goes on lol... also yea like 6 people do this stuff in the control room every show

I'd really like to see a co op game where you each play as spies working different skills at different places in a huge heist.
One of the roles would be the co-ordinator back at the base... Which would be kinda like this watching Surveillance monitors and giving signals.
I'm good at game graphics (partly what I went to college for), but I don't have the programming knowledge to pull such a project together :(

Can I make a suggestion, NL? Games that have speaking would be GREAT if you could turn up the game volume. It's really annoying not being able to hear the talking, turning the volume up, then you come in like "HEY IT'S NL TALKING"
