I would buy the house just for the view of the city, although it has an incredible aesthetic appeal, it is charming in itself.
Fortunately these vids can be slowed down for a decent look at the rooms shown. Camera always moves too quickly in these house tours. One obvious draw for this home is the openness to dramatic views. That is a draw for some, but a home should have a strong sense of shelter, of cozy warmth, which means an emphasis on the inside, not the outside. The weather in this part of the city is prone to be foggy, with its west facing orientation. Nothing to block the regular appearance of fogs off the ocean. Noticeably this little production shows clear skies throughout. Most beautiful area to have a sense of protected enclosure: (1:52) -- bedroom with adjoining sitting room where there is a proportional arrangement of cabinetry, varied height ceiling, dark wood furniture, natural light... etc.
