As a native there is NO denying the bay area has alot of issues at the moment..BUT still the most beautiful BIG city in the US.
Very true!!!
Why?
Views are great but the size of the house, traffic, crime that is out of control is just madness in San Francisco.
traffic? crime out of control?? SF is not even in the top 20 dangerous cities in the US...living in SF is a luxury.
@@robbieerta7827 lol doesn’t have to be for 30 million dollar price tags
Didn't a US Senator get his luggage stolen from a parking garage? A few news crews were robbed out on the streets once while filming a news segment. The police chief tells the people he's sworn to protect " just leave your car doors unlocked so the car thieves won't break your windows. But hey people have varying degrees on what's the definition of " safe"
If you leave valuables in open view in any large city in the world- your car is going to get broken into. I think there is a big difference between being safe and having your car broken into. Is it annoying, YES! Has it happened to me, YES! Do I wish it wasn't the case, Absolutely! Would it make me not move to SF or move out, no. It's all about weighing the pros and the cons and that list will be different for everyone!
@@robbieerta7827 u have to report crime first
Years ago, I left my heart in SAN FRANCISCO visiting friends in Diamond Heights with spectacular views. Most homes seen here are not my ideal. Give me the fabled Painted Ladies!
The iconic Victorians indeed are beauiful. Come back and pick up your heart! :)
More views needed for this gem
Such great information. I feel like I know so much more about San Francisco
Yay! Thanks for watching! Glad you found it useful!
This made me miss living in SF! However, I do love the cost of living much more here in Seattle now 😅
We will be here waiting for you when you are ready to return! I have heard great things about Seattle though so enjoy it (and the cost of living)!!
The drone shots of SF are so beautiful.
Thank you!
I lived in Fort Mason in the 70s when there was a an MP at the gate. I recently visited my house and asked the 3 tenants how much they paid for rent ...$8k!! And it's in terrible condition now. So sad, But it's an amazing location.
Yes, the cost of living has gone up A LOT since the 70s! Do you recall what you were paying for rent at the time you lived there?! Just curious!
The Filbert house has views of the Golden Gate Bridge. You said Bay Bridge.
Did I? Oh my gosh, that's embarrassing! Thanks for catching!
love Fillmore, such a great place to shop and go out to eat, would be a dream to live walking distance to that street
Listed for 46, sold for 32.
YES! Many homes priced at over 20m start with aspirational numbers. Sometimes they get them, sometimes they don't.
Exactly! She said the opposite which didn't make sense for being under the price point. 😂🙃
@@livinginsanfranciscoca The first home featured at 2:45 was misspoke? The home listed in 2021 for 32 million, sold for 46 millions, just 30% below asking?
Should have said sold for over not under 32%
@@JimmyCiard correct! I messed up!
The unobstructed view from the sea cliff home at 7:24 is to die for!
LOVE!
Some billionares make easy money, they pay high price in real estate esp. in San F. neibourhood. The city is going down, high crime and robbery,I dont want to live in S.F. any more. Dont forget the earth quake may come any time. God bless SF.
... insane prices. I can still remember the 1980s and 90s prices of "modest" homes in SF. Now, those modest homes are over $1.5M ... so crazy
Yes! Prices have changed dramatically! I still kick myself for not buying in 2002 and waiting all the way until 2005!
Now, the Oakland crowd will be paying visits.
St. Francis Woods, Presidio Heights, Pac Heights, Sea cliff.
Most these people have properties in other areas including Silicone Valley. At least an apartment condominium for business purposes. Some people are able to live their life as business expense write off. Most realtors pay close attention to the smaller properties in those neighborhoods. Shorter buying cycle and better indicator of SF market. I have new condos sit on Van Heights or be delisted and a flat with questionable parking sell near the Pacific Campus 3 blocks away. 2 blocks from there a place over priced was delisted. It was a house though. Russian Heights as a I call it heats up when city business M&A picks up.
All of these properties are in San Francisco proper.
How Kind of you to respond. I'm afraid it's a bit too late for me to even visit San Francisco. I always enjoy seeing anything on San Francisco. I once almost moved to SFO. Looking forward to future posts. Appreciate Woodside where I visited Fi Lo Li 🏰 . Wishing you continued success 🙌
Thank you for the encouragement! And thanks for watching & commenting!
I love walking through these neighborhoods and seeing these homes; so pretty!
you see homeless everywhere in san francisco not to mention break-in robbery.
You should take look at Jackson Square business closures especially around the Transamerica Bldg area. Staggering.😮
❤❤❤ million airs wow that’s amazing. I always wanted to have money it must be nice I always wondered what it would be like to have money all the time you all are so Blessed to have Beautiful homes nice clothes nice cars
I see a HUGE downturn in the real estate market in the SFO area. With most of the computer industry related industries moving out. With this exodus Real estate prices will see a drastic devaluation.
dont see that happening at all. some business may move out but prices stay the same. due to people willing to buy.
Interesting. Where exactly are you seeing those downturn? Is there a particular product or neighborhood that you’re referring to? Also what specific companies are you referring to that have moved out of the Bay Area? I primarily just see large companies, opening up satellite offices and other areas. I don’t see them moving out.
Not at all, companies like Tesla, Oracle and HP that moved their HQ out of the Bay Area, but they still have office here, they just did it for tax purposes
Not on the mid peninsula...multiple bidders
Most live across the Golden Gate in areas such as Kentfield, Ross and Tiburon
Indeed, there is a lot of money in those areas. Out side of SF there is a lot of wealth also in Atherton and woodside.
The views from Seacliff are insane
They are SOOOO good!
At 3:20, it's the Golden Gate Bridge. Not the Bay Bridge, respectfully.
:). Thank you for the correction!
No worries at all!! Sorry I just thought I was crazy. Haha 😆
the filbert house was stunninnnnnnng
It really is an amazing house!
Unfortunately near the homeless encampments.
The issue needs a real tangible solution
While there are homeless encampments in SF they are not near any of these homes.
7:11 WOW
How much for an SRO in the Tenderloin?
I have yet to sell a house there, but I'm sure it's pretty affordable by SF standards.
And there are no homeless encampments on their streets.
Where does the landfill start?
The Marina and South beach are all liquefaction but liquefaction is in various parts of SF. This is always disclosed by the sellers in a disclosure pacakge and if we have client that want to stay away from it, then we look out for that and eliminate certain neighborhoods. Here's a video that talks a bit more about it. czcams.com/video/RVNxi7PxLWI/video.html
What about St. Francis Woods?
It's a great neighborhood, but it's actually priced pretty affordably compared to the other neighborhoods on this list. The fog and the walkability, keep the price a little lower. An average priced home there can be bought for between 3-4m.
desirable lot in San Francisco is not having a homeless person defecating in the wee hours of the morning next to the front door
I whole heartedly agree!
I visited different parts of SF beautiful
Homes turistas attraction !!! Awesome but the main city was so disgusting 🤮 dirty pavement full of 💩 urine .
Homeless sleeping everywhere 😮😮 What disgraceful view
It makes you wonder if the city is doing to
Clean up all this
Inferno of infection of infected city shame shame how their government takes control of this human destructions so
Another words the homeless are in complete
Control 😢😮😅😂💩🤮🤢💀😷😷🥺😳👀🥺👀
Boggles my mind why people with this kind of moeny would actually choose to live in this dump.
Buy a house in SFO.....PLEASE!
Giant glass windows you are safe 🤔🤣
Im only here now because I inherited 2 white elephants🙂
SF sucks big time!!!
Dont be jealous😜
They live in Texas
Most of them have moved out of the states now.
Really? I wonder who is buying these 10-35m properties then?!
San Fran is dying.. Google paid 1.8 billion to leave and wow looks like a 3rd world country in poorer areas .. twitter and space x leaving but hundreds of companies have fled.. commercial real estate is being sold for 90% losses just to leave...
X leaving is a blow for sure, but not a surprise. Elon has never gotten along well with SF.
I love him but I knew when he took over, I knew they would leave. Google is just consolidating offices. They still have a ton of real estate in SF and they are not leaving. As for office spaces yes, they are on sale but this is due to the change in work from home. Many companies like open AI are taking advantage of getting into these offices for good prices.
@@livinginsanfranciscoca The problem is not office space, it is a result of city policies. The city government is a huge problem, and crazy corporate taxes are being spent on the marginalized and the homeless (on drugs, etc.) instead of improving the city and the lives of city residents. But these citizens voted for it, which means they deserve it. SF is dying and will die if nothing changes. Market str is already dead. For the first time in 10 years I see the city advertised as a tourist destination! San Francisco has never needed advertising.
@@oos232 I agree with you that city politics needs to change. There are some very different options running for mayor, so we'll see what the people decide in November.
simple anwer - next to the homeless , criminals, illegal immigrants and drug dealers. San Francisco is doomed!
I am the ultra rich and I don't live in San Francisco🤔
Congrats on your success!
Atherton.
There is definitely a lot of $$ in Atherton!
And they are MOVING OUT of California!
Nobody asked you for this video😂😂
Yet nearly 40,000 people have watched it:)
I want to live near successful people.. not hip hop or sports players that didn't really earn money
Most of the super-high-net-worth people in SF have worked hard to earn it through tech or biotech. Some of it is generational wealth. We don't have too many hip-hop stars or sports players,, though there are a few.
A stupid city San Francisco
