Thank you! I am struggling and trying to figure this out as I go. I tripped at the starting line and now working hard to supply my daughter with enough milk to eliminate the need for formula. I'm taking all your information and advice
    to heart.

There are some levels in the breast pump for milk extraction. At what level we have to do power pump?.

I’m exclusively nursing. I have been trying to pump just to save some up for a while and at one time had 5 feedings saved up but somehow it disappeared when traveling and now I’m trying to get some stocked up again so I never have to worry about not having enough but I can’t seem to get enough. By the time I get enough for a feeding maybe 4-5oz she’s already hungry again and I have to give her the bottle I just pumped so nothing is getting saved. I am going to try power pumping once in the morning after her feed and once in the evening after bedtime feed. But my main question is, what do I do with the teensy bit that may or may not come out? Put it in a small baggy and keep adding to it? How do I do that safely if I can’t add warm fresh milk to refrigerated cold milk? I’m not sure what to do with the remnants of milk during power pumping.... I just need some encouragement too please help!!!!!

This is a great question (I’m the creator of this video - just on my personal account!).
You can definitely combine them once they get to the same temperature. So pump that first amount, put it in the fridge in a pitcher, and then after you pump that second amount, put the bottle in the fridge, and once it’s gotten to the same temperature, pour it into the pitcher and repeat.

@@KatieClark thank you so much for replying so fast! So I know when my milk is in the fridge it gets a little hard and sticks to the bottle or bag or whatever I'm using. How do you suggest I transfer? I'm sorry for what seems to me is a stupid question lol I'm sure the answer is super simple... maybe I could store it in a small Tupperware container and then use a spatula or something to scrape the thicker part into the cold milk I collected and stored in the container?

@@emilyscott2109 that would work! I would transfer as soon as you feel it’s cooled enough in the fridge :) a spatula would work!

I have a single pump, how should o do it? Should I pump from one breast, pause for 10 minutes and next 10 minutes pump from the other breast? Or should I just switch breasts every 10 minutes?
    Thank you 😊

@@yashaswinishivalingamurthy2574 I’ve found someone else saying that if you have only one pump you can switch between breasts every 10 minutes, no rest time (while one is pumping the other is resting anyway)
