Baldi's Basics Plus is like the original game, but PLUS! The same cruddy edutainment horror type parody theme is back, but with hugely expanded gameplay features, including procedurally generated levels, field trip minigames, crazy random events, PLUS more characters, more items, and more chaos!
This game is not what it seems...
Baldi's Basics Plus is a survival horror roguelite that parodies cheap 90's edutainment and never takes itself too seriously. You will encounter strange characters, find useful items, go on field trips and more as you explore Baldi's ever changing super schoolhouse, and as you explore the game itself, you'll start to realize it is not what it seems...
So, what exactly do you do in this game? You collect notebooks while playing hide and seek with Baldi! Sounds easy right? Wrong. Baldi can hear many of your actions, and he uses those sounds to try and find you. He's also invited many friends to come and play, who can cause a lot of trouble. Get to know them though and you can use them to your advantage! You'll also find lots of items scattered around the school. These are the key to success. Use them wisely if you want to have a chance at beating Baldi!
Near infinite replayability - Baldi's Basics Plus randomizes so many different things, every time you play will be a different experience!
Procedurally generated levels - The levels change every time you play! Not only will the layout change, but the types of rooms and obstacles, you find will change too!
Random events - One moment everything is fine, the next the school is flooding, or fills with fog! Random events can begin at any moment, so make sure you're ready for them!
Mixing and matching characters - Each time you play, you'll get to see random combination of characters.
All these variables add up to make each playthrough a unique experience!
Lots of ways to play - Baldi's Basics Plus features many different modes to test players in different ways!
Main Mode - Complete a series of randomly generated levels to win! Run out of lives and you'll have to start over.
Endless Mode - See how many notebooks you can collect before being caught by Baldi! Compete by playing on pre-made levels, or go crazy and try playing on a randomly generated one.
Challenge Mode - As you play more of the Main Mode, you'll unlock challenges! Challenges offer unique scenarios you won't find in the main game. One might have you sneaking around the school to avoid being seen by the Principal of the Thing, another might have both you and Baldi running at super high speeds!
Field Trips Mode - Play field trips found in the main game whenever you like! You can try to set high scores, or just practice!
Hang around with your favorite characters, they're all here: Baldi, Playtime, Arts and Crafters, It's a Bully, Principal of the Thing, 1st Prize, Gotta Sweep, Cloudy Copter, Chalkles, Beans, Mrs. Pomp, The Test, Dr. Reflex, Null, Badsum, 0th Prize, Baldloon, PlaceFace, Me, Bladder, Johnny... at least they might be.

This should be called "Season 2" and every update brings us to another Season, that way people won't be confused by why there's two Seed videos of the same name

Afterall, it is a work in progress, and when the game is finished, it ending up as "baldi's basics plus season 12" or something is stupid instead of just a version number

What’s scary is when the hallways are flooded and dr reflex just submerges from the water in front of you.
Mystman finished 0.4, so now the seedrunner's back for more.
With Dr. Reflex now in the mix, bringing with him new gameplay tricks.

Although 600 were already done, we can have 600 more of fun!

I personally think they should’ve made Seed 0 the original Baldis Basics map, then for Floor 2 of seed 0 it would have birthday bash floor 2 but fixed, without the secrets. then floor 3 having floor 2 of birthday bash mixed with the og map.
it would be cool seeing this all in plus, considering they don’t have many references to the older maps, other than teleporting button thingy guns

Finally! The first Baldi's Basics Plus 0.4 seed!
Edit: Also is it just me or the new seed generation is a lot more whackier
it's because mystman completely rehauled the room generation and made some changes to hallway generation
The rooms are all way, way, way less random however. Kind of removed part of the "something is clearly wrong" feeling these cruddy edutainment parodies are made to do.
If the room generation was part complete random and part presets, that'd be a little more unique.
@@GodlightTheTranscended7745the new room generation system is perfect imo, I think the game just needs more horror elements to recapture the "wtf is wrong" feeling that classic had. Bringing back the red lights after all the notebooks are collected as an example
@@DannyCheezits I feel like that would be too repetitive if it were every floor ever. There's 3 floors so far during the latest early access update, and mystman confirmed that there's going to be more than just 3 floors. Perhaps it can be necessary for the latest floor in the run when the respective update comes.

I discovered Dr reflex on Friday night when TFG was playing this
I thought he was playing some sort of mod in the video image thing but turns out it was a new update and I was never aware of it
The last time I remember watching someone play a new version of Baldi’s basics was when it came out in 2022 and that was pretty epic
The seedrunner came,with no shame.He had to reset,for dr reflex was now in the net.With him bringing new challenges and tricks,we are going back to zero,all the way up back to the 2 zero 6.
