TOP TIP! I found, after MUCH pain, If you put a spoonful of flour in with the apples, (or any fruit/ANYTHING you put in cake) IT KEEPS THE PIECES EVENLY DISTRIBUTED AND STOPS THEM FROM SINKING TO THE BOTTOM WHILE THEY’RE BAKING! I KNOW someone’s got that pain 😜 LoL 🤣
Wow! Thank you!

I've made this several times and this is what I found works best for me.
1. Dust apples in cinnamon, not sugar mix. Just a matter of preference!
2. I skip the sugar/butter mix on top. It didn't work well for me the first time so instead, I dust the top of the cake very lightly with brown sugar before baking. That adds a tiny sugary crunch to the top without being overpowering.
3. I skip the glaze entirely.
My cake still comes out moist, delicious, and perfect for breakfast or dessert. Thank you for the recipe! It's my favorite!!
recipe :
1/8 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
^put apples in and fully coat with cinnamon sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
^to dollop on top of cake batter before baking
3 cups oat flour
7/8 granulated sugar
4tsp baking powder
1 and 1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup butter
put cinnamon sugar coated apples in and fold
^cake batter ready
bake at 160C for 45 mins
Thank you so much for the written recipe! ❤
It seems like she uses plain/ap flour not oat flour.
Thank you
.
How did she say to make glaze
Made this in 1 and a half hours time. Just came out of the oven, served it with some of the cinnamon paste and fresh cream - my family loved it! I didn't do the Icing as it will be way too sweet. I also only put 120g of sugar in the flour batter. Still heavenly
Thank you for this scrumptious recipe ❤
I made this and my parents said it was the best cake ever! Tysm for this recipe! ♥
Is there anyway you could write down the recipe for the cake! We have a Family Reunion coming up and we’re suppose to bring desserts! I thought this would be good to take, but I really need a recipe! Thank you!
NORMA COLLINS FROM TEXAS

Other chefs should take note… THIS is how you teach a recipe. Full cake from scratch, taught in like 2 mins. No BS. Just straight up cooking. Love it.
Lol
No
You haven’t seen good cooking tutorials for sure.
This is possible only for easy as hell recipes like this one.
I agree the faffing can be annoying
Shorts can only be 1 min long
Sounds like it would also work well with apple’s raisins and walnuts yuuummy

Thank you.
That's a lot of sugar😮
I just made this cake. It came out really moist but also waaay too sweet. I didnt even do the sugar glaze
Thanks 💖you made me try it with less suger 😊 it was prefect👌.. ❤❤❤
Thought it looked way too sweet
Ya her whole recipe is 90% sugar. Gross
What ratio of sugar would you suggest?
@@charlottecarrick2997 perhaps half the amount of granulated sugar or brown sugar
Absolutely the moistest cake I've ever had!! 😋 but the grams makes me crazy 🤪
I just made this cake and it’s really delicious. But I cut down on sugar. For me this is way too much. You can make it with much less sugar and have a wonderful result.
that was my first question; can I make it less sugary?!
How much sugar did you use instead? Thanks!
I was trying to figure out how to do that 😅. Probably won't put sugar on the apples 🤔
how much did you use instead?
It's ridiculous how good this looks.
this looks AAAAAMAZING. and NO I am not going to cut on sugar nor I am skipping the glaze. The way I see it is the way I want it - with all magic
This cake looks delicious but the amount of sugar put into this cake is scary 😳🤭
My mom found this one and made it today. I can't stop going into the kitchen for anouther bite. Even though it took about 18 times to watch it to get all the ingredients. It was worth it!!!!!! Yum
I believe that those 200 grams of regular sugar should be increased to 215 and skip the 150 brown sugar and icing sugar all together. In case that you still want to put the icing 70 grams should be enough and use more milk. In this way from 500 grams of sugar ( 1/2 kg) the cake will have around 300 grams.of sugar - still very sweat and tasty.
Just made it and it was sooo good!!
I recommend adding walnuts and browned butter instead of normal butter! Delicious
How many times was the word sugar mentioned?
It called "diabetes" 😂😂😂

Yeah ….looks delicious ..but as a meme her of all diabetic family …no way
These were great, thank you for sharing recipe xx
Now I’m about to make this wish me luck
how did it turn out?
You literally make so nice recipes
❤ I just made this. It’s cooling now. It smells delicious. I really love how quick and precise your demonstration is in this short. I pray that you are as rich and wealthy as this is going to make us.
What a beauty!!! Looks so delicious 🤤. I'm going to make these since I always have apples around the house. Thanks so much for the delicious video!❤
SOMEONE TELL ME IN CUPS IM AMERICAN 😭
If you bake frequently, I'd suggest getting a scale! As a non-American, I've purchased some measuring cups to be able to follow American recipes without having to do the conversions. Makes live a lot easier. But, here it is in cups anyway:
45g granulated sugar (=1/4 cup)
2tsp cinnamon
2 apples, peeled & diced
150g light brown sugar (=3/4 cup)
2tbsp cinnamon
120g butter, melted (=1/2 cup)
360g plain flour (=3 cups)
200g granulated sugar (=1 cup)
4tsp baking powder
300ml whole milk (=1 + 1/4 cups)
1tsp vanilla
2 large eggs, beaten
110g butter, melted (1/2 cup)
200g icing sugar (=2 cups)
40ml milk (=3 tbsp)
Bake 40-45min on 160°C (=320°F)
Absolutely delicious. Made it yesterday and everyone loved it.
Thanks for sharing this recipe!
I made this and it was good! Cook time rather than 40 minutes was closer to 1 hour. Next time I may tone down the sugar a bit.
This is basically pure sugar
I made these 2 days ago and it was delicious 😋 I’m vegan so I replaced the milk with almond milk and the eggs with the vegan just eggs (liquid) and I did dark brown sugar because I had no light brown sugar and my family loved it ❤️
Yummy recipe! 😳
Indeed
This is so fast!! I watched 7 times just to get measurements, and when you pause it they flash up too quick! It’s a great recipe but if you don’t want people to bake it, dont share it!
She has a website with the recipes. I think that it is the same username.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe. It was DELICIOUS!!!
Can you please post desserts for airfryer as well? for a small and quick option?
Totally going to make this! 😍
Omg! 😱Scrumptious! Thanks for sharing! ✌🏽💙
If you’re planning to do this CAREFUL WITH THE SUGAR cut it in half + idk if it’s just me but the butter sugar mixture sank and made my cake look ugly as hell
I did exactly the same recipe as her and it was declared as the best cake my co-workers have ever eaten. You Might want to take a baking class 🤷🏼♀️😏
My mouth 👄 is watering right now because of how delicious 🤤 those are

Adapted a recipe from this and another cake recipe, thank you for it too because it's delicious! My son loved it for his birthday!
I made this with a little more sugar and nutmeg…legit the second best cake I’ve ever made. It was gone in a few hours. Apples were perfection(only used 1 red delicious apple though) and batter called for 2 8 inch round pans bc I her recipe as a base…I added a little more of this and that. But it was one of the best things I have ever eaten. And I’m a baker!!!
Made it it was incredible thank u
All this is missing is some walnuts or pecans mixed in!!!😍😍😍😍
I just made this! Was having a craving for cinnamon rolls but decided to try this instead.
I grated the apples instead of cubing them.(also added a pear).
I 1/2 the sugar that goes into the batter and didn’t do the icing. Mine didn’t come out as moist probably because it didn’t have as much sugar but still moist enough and fluffy.
Yummmy!!!
definitely gonna try this
Okay I’m making this hands down 🤤
You should👌
Can't wait to try this
This was soooo delicious!!! My mom loved it, thank u for this amazing recipe!!!💗💗💗💗💗
it’s so good… 100% RECOMMEND TRYING!!

By the time I’d stop started the video my Apple and sugar mixture contained loads of water. I got really cross jabbing away at my screen. 😢
Her Website has the recipes. I think it has the same username.
Hi, I'm Eileen from England! Google 'Cinnamon Apple Cake-Fitwaffle' for the recipe. I used approx 12"x8" tray bake tray and lined it with grease-proof baking paper.
Good job
Wow love ur rcp
Thank you for sharing your ingredient measurements.
Yummy!
How can we get the recipe?👍🏻
Google 'Cinnamon Apple Cake-Fitwaffle' for the recipe.
This recipe feels like a challenge on how much sugar someone can add to a cake!
Right?😂 I like the recipe though. I think I’ll make it with half the sugar.
