I liked when Van Hammer became a member of Ravens Flock and became Hammer. Hair metal to grunge. He had the flashback which was his finisher. It was an Alabama Slama but I e never seen it before and when he performed it I was like DAMN! Should have won the TV or US title before the company folded in 2001
seems like a nice normal guy. all I remember was that he didn't talk much in the ring and either stomped his feet a lot with a guitar or looked crazed.
Good interview. I know Mark well. I wish him all the best. I hope his new life, career and wife will be more important to him than the demons of his past. Conquering all the armies (or wrestlers) in the world is easy compared to the task of conquering one's self.
I met him in 96 or 97 down in Salisbury md. I was going home from the police academy and stoped at a convenience store and run in to him. Very nice guy.

I always liked Van Hammer. Ring wise he wasnt the best, but I always thought if Vince got hold of him, WWF could have had success with him. I guess his addictions cost him. His first WCW run as Heavy Metal Van Hammer was good but he was too green for that push imo.

I always thought this guy looked like he was one of the Von Erich brothers. Looked alot like Kerry Von Erich imo anyone see the resemblance or is it just me?
Think he was a lil drunk..yeah. His blood presure looks so high if he lives another two years I WILL not be surprised. Always disliked this guy for many reasons.
His ring work was never that great but he had one of the best physiques in the business, very good shape and aesthetics
Definitely in my top 20 of all time.... physique wise.
