Thx for the class and tips. Be well.
One of the best modelling channels on the youtube.
Very informative, thank you.
These videos are so much fun to watch. Back in the day we learned all this stuff in high school shop class.
Wish I could find a solar cell calliper. Even if my hand blocks the light once and a while.
* Hides his stack of callipers that are missing battery compartment doors and batteries*
outstanding videos bud, extremely informative with no fluff. Good work!
I might ADD that a 6inch 'HEIGHT Gage " is Also Very handy , as is a Surface gage and scriber ! There are Small ones Available ! 1x2x3 Steel Blocks are also VERY Handy as well .... Thanks
Hi Paul,
Great editing, for this very informative guide on measuring tool. Realised what was missing at this new site - the intro music.
I've dropped the music for a couple of reasons. Partly to avoid future copyright issues, but more because I wanted to streamline the content. Reviewing the old videos and comparing them to what I'm doing now has been pretty revealing and I could see how the music was superfluous and the audio was over-processed. Personally, I think I've got a better balance now with the on camera introductions rather than just narration.
Both formats are good, but you are right regarding balance, the face and the story, seems to be the trend, pity about the music, it set the tone.
Superb ! Thank you.
Hi... enjoyed this informative video very much. I would like to ask where did you purchase the Vernier Caliper you are seen holding at min. 2:44 and which in you web-page noted above as I would like to purchase one myself. BTW, I still have the paper/cardboard slide rule I made in class too many years ago. Thank you for you help with this question.
Comment on invader videos: how do you know where all the details that was sanded away goes?
