I had the good fortune of playing against Dwan in the summer of 2005 or 2006 on Full Tilt poker 2 tabling 6max while he was 12-16 tabling. He was one of the hardest players to play against because I had lots of trouble reading his hands and we rarely went to showdown because he was so aggressive. Every time I thought my hand was solid (top pair top kicker or better) he would just always have me beat. My AQ and QJ from late position always lost to his Q2 or J3. He’s a nightmare to play against. But this was right before his meteoric rise to high stakes. So I only got to play him a couple nights in a row and then he was gone to higher and higher stakes. We played at .25/.50 NL and by the end of the summer he was playing much higher, I think 5/10 or higher.

POKER.KING. How is it possible for "so many" players to be proprerly bankrolled in multi-million dollar games? EVERONE GOES ON A LOSING STREAK!! Looks like only the Billionaire businessmen can afford this past-time?!

Even though Dwan wanted the dude to grab his cards, isn't it a huge nono to grab someone's cards without their permission? I guess that person was such a cash cow, nobody said anything.

I didn't get that vibe at all. Honestly it felt the other way around to me, where the host is much more analytical and has a strong memory, where Dwan is kind of just a master of on the spot decisions, and moves on to the next and doesn't really remember a lot.
