    ‘It’s a Fair CoP’ - What Role Can The Court Of Protection Play in Housing Law Cases?
    The Court of Protection has numerous powers to deal with a variety of issues concerning those who lack capacity, including issues about their property, financial affairs and welfare. Several of these powers are also relevant to housing law cases.
    In this session, Vilma details the role of the Court of Protection and its powers in the context of housing law from both a landlord and tenant representative's perspective. Her talk also explores the process of applying to the Court of Protection for orders that might assist in housing law cases. Vilma covers the following:
