Come with me to check out all the new experiences at Universal Studios Japan since my last trip! Cool Japan is in full swing at the park, so the Space Fantasy attraction has new Doraemon overlay; complete will all new snacks! Over in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter magical creatures have made their way into Hogsmede! You can now meet a baby dragon, a pigmypuff, a niffler, and learn to bow to an actual Hippogriff during a special stage show! Also Universal's No Limit Parade is back complete with two NEW units featuring characters from Super Mario and Pokemon! New Pokemon food options have also landed in the park... plus so much more!

The blue guy is Doraemon! He’s sort of like the Mickey of Japan. He’s a kids cartoon / anime / manga from the 60s that still popular today. He’s a robot cat from the future. His creator sends Doraemon back in time to his grandpa when he was a kid (Nobita, the kid with the glasses) to help him have a better childhood but they end up always getting in trouble. Doraemon has a 4th dimensional pocket that he pulls all kinds of neat gadgets like a door that goes anywhere and a propeller that lets them fly.
Also the ET in drag merch is amazing.
From now on I will be calling Doraemon "blue anime dude"
