to be fair to the animators, rotoscoping for scenes with pianos help a lot with accuracy, since animators don't always know how to play the piano or particular songs.
i adore the 3.33 piano scene, on of my favorite scenes of all time. and sakamichi no apollon was satisfying to watch as well. sadly 2018 piano no mori was quite a... disappointment

Thanks man! There's a short clip from Nodame Cantabile Finale at 2:13. The difficulty with this MAD was trying o find well animated close ups of piano finger work as there's no tag for instruments on sakugabooru and its not something you can search for easily. I watched some Nodame Cantabile (from episodes/clips as there aren't clips from it on the booru) but didn't find the finger work in the parts I watched as interesting as in the other clips in this MAD apart from 1 or 2 shots from the Chopin performance the clip here is taken from. I didn't watch the whole show though so I could've missed some stuff. One goal of making this MAD was to use people's recommendations in the comments to make another one since these sort of clips are hard to find. Do you know about any other particularly nice shots of fingerwork in the series?
Thanks! Those are they original key frames for that scene in Evangelion 3.33, edited together with the live action footage that was shot as reference for the animators. It's a bonus feature on the Eva 3.33 DVD/Blu-Ray
